Twinkle's Spotify playlist!

(Dang, another post about music playlists you're creating on Spotify?)

Well, yes. Hi. :)

Last night, I spent a few (more like several, pfft) hours putting songs into a playlist themed around my character, Twinkle. It's over 100 songs long now, haha.

I didn't name it after her name though. I named it "blue fire + blue ice" ... uh yeah ok.

Most of the songs have such a different feel than the playlist I made for Duke and Fierdan. There is less screaming and songs marked as explicit in Twinkle's (technically, there is some but in a smaller amount).

... wow, I didn't listen to some of the songs I put in Twinkle's playlist in so long. I've mainly been listening to the type of music I put in Duke and Fierdan's playlist. (ahahaha ^-^")

Yes, some of the songs are in both playlists. They relate to both Twinkle and Duke, that's why. Because I say they do.

And I'll probably add even more songs to the playlists later. I don't want to do that right now.

The "DUKE + Fierdan" playlist is currently at 180 songs. The "blue fire + blue ice playlist" is close to  having 120 songs.

So if you're not that into rock and metal, then check out Twinkle's playlist! :'D (... yeah idk do whatever you want lol)

Oh yeah. Unlike the other playlist, I didn't really put the songs in this one in any particular order. A few of them do have an order to them, but that's not the case for all of them.

... to be honest, I think I'll listen to the "DUKE + Fierdan" playlist more.

Yeah so uh, I didn't make another post a few hours after the last one. Oops. 

I put more songs on the playlist. It's past 150 now. 

(Yeah, I was looking for more songs to add at 2 am again. Pfft.)  

Several times when I was creating the playlist, I've been looking back at that drawing of Finny and Duke I showed a few days ago. 

You know.. this one.

I keep on looking back at how I drew Duke. And I.. I still like it? Well, how his face (head? lol) and his body (without his limbs lol who needs those) looks.

I'm a fan of Duke in a black tank top and those wristbands. And my poor linework on his right arm makes it look like he has some muscles. So I like how that came out too. :) 

Meanwhile I totally butchered Finny's left arm. I don't know what happened. Sorry about that, Finn. 

Anyway, I love the color dynamic thing between Duke and Finny. Duke is the one who wears black and Finny wears white. Duke has dark colored hair and Finny has light colored hair. It's like they're opposites, wow, would you look at that. 

Geez, Duke looks so young in this. My drawing of him,, ahh,, he's my child,, he is just a kid,,. 

I don't know if anyone noticed, but I feel like I draw Duke with black fingernails a lot. I don't know why. 

Huh, that's weird. Ok.. 

I imagine Duke and Finny listening to my DUKE + Fierdan playlist and singing some of the songs from it. 

Uh.. wow, it's mostly rock and heavy metal songs but also with some not rock or heavy metal songs mixed in. The playlist, yeah haha, it's become a mess. I only create messes. :-) 

Oh.. oh! 

When Duke was singing in the shower in my early-ish December 2018 skit, he's singing a heavy metal song. I imagine him singing way better lyrics than what I wrote in that skit. I actually imagine him as a damn good singer. I just struggle coming up with original song lyrics. It's a little different than simple poetry; there's an added layer of complexity to creating lines that are meant to be sung. 

I think I was listening to "Pittsburgh" on repeat when I was writing lines that Duke sings and screams in the shower. (check my playlist for the "Pittsburgh" song I'm referring to) 

I'm talking about this lol:

Yeah. I don't know how to write song lyrics. Though it does look like Duke is screaming gibberish, which is funny..? idk. 

On an introspective note, the quality of my art (drawings) and writings have improved significantly in the past few months. For real.

Hi, I'm half-asleep right now, so it's the perfect time for me to make a new post. :)

I spent the majority of my free time these past few days listening to my new DUKE + Fierdan playlist and adding songs to it. I spent a few hours listening to more songs and adding them to the playlist last night and the night before. 

It now has almost 150 songs and is almost 10 hours long. That's what the playlist stats from Spotify tell me. 

Geez, I've been spending a ton of time on Spotify lately. A lot more than usual. 

Ok so like I would've stopped adding songs, but I keep on getting these amazing recommended songs. And so here I am at 2 in the morning thinking, "gosh darn it, here's another song that fits my characters, duke and fierdan." ... at least 5 times in the past half hour. 

I still don't know how to put it as a link. I'm spiritixsw on Spotify. My playlist dedicated to my fire disaster boys is the first one I made (because I'm just that dedicated and obsessed with them). 

I also plan on making the playlist for Twinkle be pretty long. Though I doubt it'll be as long as the one I have for Duke and Fierdan. 

Oh and...

Discretion! Several songs in the DUKE + Fierdan playlist are marked explicit. Some of them have the f-word in the lyrics a lot. I doubt anyone still reads my posts if they don't like swear words, but if anyone like that is out there, then I don't suggest you searching for and listening to it. 

Yes. All of the songs I put in the playlist remind me of Duke and/or Fierdan. 

No. Not every song reminds me of Duke and/or Fierdan in story 1. A few songs remind me of ideas I have for story 2. 

The songs in the playlist are also songs I imagine Duke and Fierdan listening to. The songs remind me of them, and they are also songs they would listen to. 

Many of the songs have screaming lyrics in them. Only fairly recently have I began to love that type of music. 

It's so good. I love these songs I'm finding. I love this music. <3 

Duke and Fierdan music- a lot of rock and metal (it's called metal? what the-- :o). Twinkle music- a lot more pop.. and rock too. Duke and Fierdan music- violence, anger. Twinkle music- sadness, and idk. 

I'm so close to falling asleep for good. But I'm still listening to my playlist. I can't sleep yet. 

Oh haha, guess what? I just have to bring up death and "kill" in papers for english classes. Me and my dark metaphors. Haha wtf, stop being so dark @ Cutepups.

• Yeah.. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have drawn the back of his hand (the fist) in that. If the one closest to his head is his thumb, then the front of his hand would be showing, not the back. 

• I think I drew Duke so cute in that. Like, look at his face! Aww hhhh,, I love it. He's like my child, wtf. 

• Sometimes I color Duke's skin lighter than other times. Haha, I can't decide on anything for the life of me. Anyway, there is a change in color from Finny's arm and hand to Duke's arm and hand. 

• Duke,, his body and arms,, that's what I call skinny otter mode otter body. (uwu owo ; wtf) 

• Please tell me if you listened to my playlist or at least looked it up. I'm very excited to hear back. !!! 

• Actually, I forgot to add that there are also quite a few songs in the playlist that I've been listening to since 2017. That's not 2015 or a few months ago. Haha oops. 

• I want to add more songs and create more playlists, but the week just started yesterday and college is keeping me busy. :( 

• "DUKE + Fierdan" yes!! Validate me, Spotify! I am proud of myself despite being a disappointment to everyone in my life. :) 

• Hey ok, my gpa is a 3 point something, so maybe I'm not a complete failure/disappointment/waste of life? Hmm...

• Oh and I tried to organize the songs in the Duke and Fierdan playlist in some type of order that matches the order in the story. From the beginning time (that Big Yikes time of 2014-15) to things about Duke's (and Fierdan's too, I guess) past being revealed and then to the infamous part of the story that I left off now for over a year. I said "infamous" because that's what I think of Chapters 76 and 77 being. I don't think I'm ready to write them, even though it's been over a freaking year since I properly wrote a chapter. And then after that is what I call the Duke torture arc. Ahh :"), my plans for my characters are so pleasant. They just.. all die. 

• The songs that aren't hard rock screaming lyrics are the songs that remind me of Twinkle as well. :) "hard rock screaming lyrics" yes. :) 

• Dang it. I want to write a new skit story. But I don't have time. I'm in college and I'm busy with college stuff, @ my brain. Stop obsessing over Duke and your other characters such as Twink Tinkle, Fire Dan, Rye 'n Bread, and.. Dawn. :{

Duke and Fierdan playlist

You know what? I don't know how much time I'll have later without feeling even more guilty and nervous, so I'll just post this now. Alright, cool, ok. 

I spent the majority of yesterday creating my Spotify playlist for my fire diaster boys (or in other words, Duke and Fierdan). As of now, it contains 84 songs. So.. yeah, it's over 50. Haha, I have lots of songs in mind for my characters. Told you so. 

I don't know how to provide a link for it yet, so I'll just tell you what it's called and my username and all that jazz. 

(There's no jazz songs though. No Duke Ellington. Sorry, my bad. :c)

I titled the playlist "DUKE + Fierdan" so if you search that up, you might be able to find it..? 

(I mean.. I hope you can. That is if you use Spotify of course, haha.) 

But if you can't for some reason, my username is "spiritixsw" so you can search it up that way. 

I'm feeling so excited about this. It was so much fun to do. In fact, I'm listening to it right now. ;D 

There are some.. some uh.. loud songs. Those kinds of songs remind me of Duke and Fierdan/Danny. 

I plan on putting some of the songs in Twinkle's playlist. Because those songs remind me of DukeXTwinkle (oh, Dukle~ <3).

Though I was a little surprised that I didn't put in as many love songs (? something like that) as I thought I would. Most of the songs are about.. violence? The violent side of things? idk. Oh and references to their self-destruction via the deaths of others and themselves. 

Most of the songs are either old songs that reminded me of them since 2015.. or songs I first listened to a few months ago. For the several songs I put in the playlist from particular bands.. yeah, I get lots of Duke and Fierdan vibes from them.

... huh, it's warm outside today. oh.. 

I really want to create a playlist for Twinkle. Doing this is exhilarating. I'm happy because of this. Playlists.. just.. Yes. 

I might add even more songs to the Duke and Fierdan playlist. I'm not that sure yet. 84 sounds like enough, don't you think? (pfft lol) 

Oh and the songs don't only remind me of story 1 events. Some of them remind me of story 2 (and possibly 3?) content.. and skits as well, to be honest.

Finny and Duke singing

Hey. I was going to post this in the morning or afternoon, but I changed my mind. I'm here now. :)

I kept on forgetting to color that sketch of Finny and Duke I drew in December. So I did that after I finished the last post.

Here's the sketch I'm referring to.

I gave up on trying to fix the anatomy. Their arms and hands look very off. I got tired. Oh well.

I like how I drew and colored Duke's hair. I like their different colored tank tops and their same colored pants.

Finny is taller than Duke. And Duke is probably skinnier than Finny.

I had so much trouble figuring out where Duke's armpit is and how to draw it. Especially with his arm in that position. Oh well, I tried.

To make it look like an armpit and not just his arm, I added some armpit hairs. Pfft lol.

I added in the red and black wristbands on Duke's arms. (links to my deviantart submission of it)

I quickly colored Finny's hat. I wasn't fully thinking when I did that.

I think Duke is singing louder than Finny, even though Finny is holding the mic. Duke suddenly grabs Finny's hand, so Finny looks slightly in Duke's direction. Duke raises his other arm, his hand in a fist. He looks pumped. ... gosh, i love him.

I think that's everything I have to say about it. I guess I should show the art now. That sounds like a good idea.

I don't know if it's because it's 4 am and I'm sleepy, but I'm in love with how I drew and colored Duke's hair. All of it.

This has to be the best completed drawing of Finny I have. I imagine his hair color being a little bit lighter though.

Before I go, about the Duke and Fierdan playlist...

I can easily picture it being around 50+ songs. I have so many songs in mind.

I can't help it, I'm sorry.

I might have a song to start it with..? I don't care as much about it now.
