Today is April 22nd (aka: Earth Day). Unfortunately, I haven't celebrated Earth Day in school today- again. :c My Spring Break ended, so back at school! .-. Ok, I know you guys don't want to see me go on about my life. XD So how about 'Earth Day' on here? I don't own these pictures btw o3o
Remember, we only have one life. Remember that, there is only one Earth. Sometimes impacts we have on Earth and the environment can never be replaced and be fixed again. Ahem- the hole in the ozone layer, for example. I think that today by us thinking of " Being Green" and all that, we are kind of forgiving Earth. I don't know about you guys but, I'll rather live in a world with life- plants, animals; life. Than turn Earth into a polluted planet. I know you guys probably know this already:
1. Conserving water: Only 1% (I believe) of water on Earth is drinkable- that we can use. 2% is frozen (I believe) and the remaining 97% is saltwater. We can't use 99% of water; only 1%. So to be smart, conserve water (especially that 1%). ;)
2. Reduce, reuse, recycle!!! c:
3. Plant trees if you're able to. They give us Oxygen which let us breathe, so why not conserve trees- as well as other plants? Some are even pretty. ^o^
4. Help endangered animals! They also help the environment! ^.^
I don't want this to seem too educational, so I'll stop now with these tips. There're many more though. As you can see, I've memorized these tips! :P This is also National Geographic's mission. NG funds Animal Jam. About AJ, my wolf scene on the bottom here is nature-like. :3 So yeah. Enjoy today, and peace!
