A "Hi, Bye" Post

Hello, whoever feels like reading this post! X3
Anywho, the Cute Pup of the Day is Nymeria the Shiba Inu. Looks like she's relaxing in a park- or maybe a backyard. Hmm, what do you guys think? Oh yeah. It's already August. Wow! ^o^ The Cute Pup of the Day info is found on: http://www.dailypuppy.com/puppies/Nymeria-the-Shiba-Inu_2014-08-03
Nymeria the Shiba Inu

So yeah. Anyways, I guess you might be slightly confused by the title of this post. It's a "Hi, Bye" post because I'm back from my vacation in California; but later today, I'm leaving my house again to go to my grandma's house for camp close to where she lives. Slightly confusing a bit? So anywho, I'm gonna share with you what I did on my vacation. 8D

However, the rest of this post might be awkward if:
A. You live in the states I'm referring to. XD
B. You don't live in the United States, and you have no clue what I'm typing about. o.O
C. You didn't even realize that I left. >:I
D. You just don't care. >:T
(I can't think of any more reasons in this moment. Sorry. :c lol)
*By "I" or "we", I actually mean 'my family and I'. Too lazy to type all that every time. o3o*
*Not exactly in order of events.*

I had to go on 2 airplane flights to go to California because I live all the way across the country from there. So I first went to an airport in Texas. So I hung out there for a few hours. Then from there, I went from that Texas airport to the San Diego airport. My vacation was there in Southern California (the San Diego area) so yeah. X3
*Went in the opposite direction to got back home, obviously.*

When I got there, we got a car to go travelling on our vacation. Yup. It was a bit weird though. Like seriously. The front of the car was cracked or something (idk how to describe it) and a seatbelt was missing. Such fun. Eh, eh.? XD

So after we settled everything else out, we went to Balboa Park (I hope I spelled that correctly) and over a few days, we visited some of the museums there. I think there are 15 or more museums there. But they all have a very specific topic for each one. So anyways, we visited "The Museum of Man"- it had exhibits about Human Evolution, Beer (idk why my family forced me to go there- especially since I was really thirsty. .-.), Mummies (like them Ancient Egyptian mummies), Mayan cultural stuff (them people in South America that 'claimed' that the world would end on December 21st, 2012 :/), Industry achievement stuffs (like when the computer was invented, glasses, pencils, etc.), and Torture (showed the history of torture and various torture devices/methods over history- how nice). We also visited an Art Museum and a Science Museum. It has these cool activities that you can do there and IMAX movies.

Went to this Polynesian/Hawaiian style restaurant. Polynesia was where the IMAX movie we watched was filmed. Kewl. Was good food. :P

To go to our hotel, we had to drive up this road called "Wildcat Canyon Rd." and it sure is! I'm not completely sure, but I think that road was on parts of the Rocky Mountains. We had to go on parts of that road that were on the edges of these mountains, and those mountains have lots of rocks. Many, many rocks. And when we were driving on that road one time, we saw a brushfire. So yeah. Saw a fire. :O

Went to the San Diego Zoo. That zoo is huge! Okay.? Huge. We took literally an entire day there. Was so much fun- so don't worry about that. We went on tour buses, this ride that lets you see the entire zoo (forgot the name of it >.<), baby giraffes, baby pandas, polar bears, gazelles, and many, many more animals. We also saw some interesting plants. Like Venus Fly Traps and Pitcher Plants- carnivorous plants.

Went to Universal Studios in Los Angeles. We saw this "Waterworld" show, a special effects show, and an "Animal Actors" show. So very interesting! And the lines for the rides. OMG. SOOOOOOOOOO LONG!!!! For every, single ride, we had to wait over an hour on line. And for the famous "Studio Tour" one, we waited nearly 2 hours. Waiting isn't fun. :L But that ride/tour was EPIC!!! =D

(UGH. I have to go right now. I'll finish this post later. Sorry guys. I'm kinda in a rush right now. Bye! DX)
(EDIT: I'm back. Continuing this post from like over a week ago. I had to leave to go to my grandma's house, actually. Left WAY earlier than I expected. O.o XD)

We went to this Seal Tour. It was this bus that turned into a boat. (Bus when driving among San Diego's streets; boat when went to this bay that I forgot the name of..) We saw so many sea lions (XD) and a harbor seal. Those are pretty rare to see. There was this one sea lion that knocked another one off the dock where they were all sunbathing. Was hilarious. XD
