Art and Story Posts?

Hey Jammers, it's me again! I have ideas for activities I can do on this blog: artwork and stories. For fun :D ya know? I can create my art posts where I show my artwork I've done- well on AJ anyways. o3o And stories that I make up involving my animals on AJ. (Sort of like my Precious story on AJS). I kind of have an idea for my fox, but then I'll have to wait until I renew my membership. So...

Mermaid King's Trident

Now about tridents! The new item is an underwater item- the Trident. And guess what, it's a nonmember item! So if you're a nonmember who wants this item, you can buy it and put it in your den- underwater den, that is! :D There are also different colors, but since I'm nonmember, I can't show them. :T This trident is located in the furniture shop in the underwater worlds. Now AJ has Trident underwater clothing items, and a Trident underwater den item. Does this item remind anybody of the king mermaid from "The Little Mermaid" aka Ariel's father? :3

Earth Day :)

Today is April 22nd (aka: Earth Day). Unfortunately, I haven't celebrated Earth Day in school today- again. :c My Spring Break ended, so back at school! .-. Ok, I know you guys don't want to see me go on about my life. XD So how about 'Earth Day' on here? I don't own these pictures btw o3o




Remember, we only have one life. Remember that, there is only one Earth. Sometimes impacts we have on Earth and the environment can never be replaced and be fixed again. Ahem- the hole in the ozone layer, for example. I think that today by us thinking of " Being Green" and all that, we are kind of forgiving Earth. I don't know about you guys but, I'll rather live in a world with life- plants, animals; life. Than turn Earth into a polluted planet. I know you guys probably know this already:

1. Conserving water: Only 1% (I believe) of water on Earth is drinkable- that we can use. 2% is frozen (I believe) and the remaining 97% is saltwater. We can't use 99% of water; only 1%. So to be smart, conserve water (especially that 1%). ;)
2. Reduce, reuse, recycle!!! c:
3. Plant trees if you're able to. They give us Oxygen which let us breathe, so why not conserve trees- as well as other plants? Some are even pretty. ^o^
4. Help endangered animals! They also help the environment! ^.^

I don't want this to seem too educational, so I'll stop now with these tips. There're many more though. As you can see, I've memorized these tips! :P This is also National Geographic's mission. NG funds Animal Jam. About AJ, my wolf scene on the bottom here is nature-like. :3 So yeah. Enjoy today, and peace!

The Rare Pirate Beard

As we all know today is Monday, which means it's Rare Item Monday! This Monday rare is the Rare Pirate Beard. So go say, "Ahoy matey!" as you sail around Jamaa. :3 It is on the 8th page of Jam Mart Clothing. Sold for 450 gems is a decent price, well better than the higher prices of the other RIMs. Unfortunately, I'm a nonmember and this is yet again another members-only RIM. So I can't do an outfit for the RIM. Here's the Daily Explorer post:

 
There were female pirates, although not very common. The most notable were Anne Bonnie and Mary Read who sailed with ‘Calico Jack Rackham’ in 1719.
They were known to belt on a sword and a pistol and take to the seas dressed as men. Maybe they had this week’s RARE ITEM MONDAY, Rare Blue Beard. They were also regarded as better fighters than their male shipmates. When Jack’s ship ‘The Kingston’ was captured by the law, Bonnie and Read claimed they were with child to avoid being hanged with the rest of the crew.

Now that article is quite interesting, matey! Who knew of female pirates? I didn't until I read this article. The wolf's outfit sure is pirate-like with the RIM and eye patch! But instead of the wings, I would've put a flag on to make a pirate outfit. :P

In honor of giraffes returning to Jamaa, AJHQ adopted a giraffe at the Hogel Zoo in Salt Lake City, UT. Her name is Kipenzi!

I didn't/couldn't find any new items for sale today on AJ. :T But remember Jammers, that all (or most, at least) of the winter items in stores will be leaving very soon! So be sure to buy them before they leave! ^.^

Now Alpha Talk: The Alphas of Jamaa are Liza, Greely, Peck, Graham, Sir Gilbert, Cosmo, and of course all the others that aren't the "main Alphas" I don't know, XD.

Cute Pups and the Monday Rare

My username on Animal Jam is cutepups522, and when creating this blog, I've found a website that showcases puppies every day (the Daily Puppy) so I decided to have a Cute Pup of the Day. :3 The Cute Pup of the Day is Panda the Australian Shepherd mix. Lol, my dog is an Australian Shepherd. :P The Cute Pup of the Day is showcased to the right of the posts. --> I also added fishies on the bottom of my blog. owo

Now the Rare Item Monday: The RIM today is a nice light purple/lavender leaf necklace. Sold in Jam Mart Clothing (haven't checked myself, so I'm not sure what page it's on- sorry!) I have to say though, this RIM is another RIM that's on the girly side, but it sure is an item symbolizing spring! :) I think the RIM would look pawsome with a rare headdress (if you have one.) Enjoy buying, trading, or whatever else the rare leaf necklace! :D
