Twinkle's Story: Chapter 66

DUKE

How long was I out?

I blink and rub my eyes, and lift my head off the edge of the table. When my eyes focus, I notice Twinkle standing between the kitchen and hallway.

That reminds me. I have to tell her.

"How are you feeling?" she asks.

How am I? Apart from being hunted down by people who want to hurt me, I'm feeling great.

I find myself not looking at her blue eyes. I'm staring at her lips again. It's as if this moment wants me to make a move. I want to kiss her, to make the opposite attractions of ice and fire collide.

What are you doing, Duke? She wants nothing to do with you like that. Can you just listen to her instead of ruining her life?

"Oh, I guess you're still out of it. I only came back to check up on you because Ardere wanted to know if you felt like playing a game with us," she says and then turns around to leave the room.

I quickly step away from the table, almost stumbling in the process.

"Twinkle, wait!" I call out, hurrying towards her right before the tip of her tail leaves the room.

She hesitates for a moment before turning around.

"Oh, so you are up? Are you doing any better?" she says while stepping back into the kitchen.

"Oh, you know, I'm fine. Well, apart from the whole situation we're all in because of me," I say, folding my fingers together and putting my paws behind my head.

"Okay, then let's go. Ardere is waiting for me."

My arms fall back down to my sides. "Actually, Twinkle, I've got to tell you something I think you should know."

Our eyes lock. A subtle warmth flutters in my chest.

"What is it?"

"I've learned some things. It probably sounds crazy, but apparently Dawn used one of her herbal plants to make a potion that wiped my brain of certain past memories. She also did the same thing to Fierdan. Anyway, I found out that Fierdan has a brother. Haven't heard of him? Well, there's a reason for that."

Twinkle doesn't even look that surprised. The only thing she does is click her tongue. I pause, so I can take a breath and then continue.

"Above heaven, there is this foggy barrier called the Jamaa Mist. This barrier is the gateway between two worlds. On the other side, there is the human world. What are humans? Well, it's pretty hard to explain. For one, they don't have tails. Fierdan's brother lives there instead of here in Jamaa. In fact, Jamaa started out as a project in the human world. There are also more people with different Elemental Powers in the human world, one being Fierdan's brother."

"Save your breath. I already knew all that. Dawn told me."

Dawn. She always tells Twinkle things first.

The subtle warmth feeling in my chest has vanished.

"Dawn did? Oh sorry, I didn't know." I say, hoping my words don't sound too obviously bitter.

Both of us don't say anything else for around a minute. Twinkle is the one who breaks the silence.

"Anything else you want to tell me?"

My face heats up. "Uh, that I still and forever will love you?"

She chuckles and walks out of the room and into the hallway.

I laugh slowly and follow her.

We meet Ardere in an almost empty room. He is sitting on a faded brown colored couch, which is one of the only objects in this room. When he sees me, he jumps off the couch.

When he comes to stand in front of Twinkle and me, he says, "Duke, you came! That's totally awesome! Now we can play a game. Unfortunately, I guess it would have to be played a little bit differently now that we aren't allowed to leave Dawn's cave home."

I smile at him. "Yeah, Dawn fixed me up a bit to make me feel better. My throat still feels a little raw, however."

In my peripheral vision, I see Twinkle frown for only a second before returning to a neutral facial expression.

"What's this game called and how do we play?" she asks.

Ardere has a smile on his face. Maybe that's why I love him so much. He has a smile that lights up his entire face. He has a troubled life too, and yet here he is still trying to be as positive as he can be. He's a sweet little kid; his eyes are even the same color as warm honey. Ardere reminds me of Junior, that kid who I played darts with in a hospital game room, so much. I wonder how that boy is doing.

And strangely enough, Ardere also reminds me of human child Fierdan. Who would have expected that such a cute and happy boy who loved colors would turn into a murderous and pain-loving monster who only knew the color black? The more cute and innocent someone is being forced to have their life change for the worst forever, the more cruel and messed up they become. Zios, Fierdan's father, made him and Dawn go through so much trauma. He practically sent them to start a new life in hell. They were only kids. Fierdan's heart got drained of color and turned black. He even got so far as to kill Zios.

Why did Dawn have to wipe away that memory from our brains? Why couldn't we remember the human world like she did? Why couldn't we be allowed to remember the black ashen dead bodies in Jamaa? Dawn, why did you do this?

I feel an elbow nudge me near my ribs.

"Did you get all that, Duke? We're about to start playing," Twinkle says.

I decide to lie. "Yeah, yeah I got it. Let's start."

She looks at me suspiciously and then shrugs.

This should be fun. I hope.

ARDERE

"Okay, let me just make sure. Do you all understand the rules?" I ask them.

I'm only saying that because I had the feeling that Duke wasn't paying attention when I was explaining the game. Duke, however, didn't tell me to repeat or clarify anything.

"Who wants to be the Black Rabbit?" I ask.

Before either one of them can answer, Dawn bursts into the room.

"Twinkle, let's go do some more training," she says before turning around and leaving the room.

Not even a minute later, Dawn turns around to face us. "Actually, never mind. Duke and Ardere can come too."

When Twinkle passes me on our way out, I hear her mutter some complaints under her breath. I hear her say, "Ugh, why is she so annoying? Can I ever have some fun?"

Duke follows her out of the room. I don't hear him saying any words; the only sound that comes from him is a tired sigh.

I follow him out. Dawn takes us to this much bigger room.

Seeing all the artillery lined up on the shelves makes me think of Duke.

"Dawn," he gasps, "you have so much. This is amazing."

On the wall perpendicular to the one with the shelves is a row of targets.

"Don't grab it yet," I hear Dawn tell Duke who is about to grab a red bow and arrow from the bow and arrows shelf.

Duke sighs and takes his paw off the shelf.

Dawn smiles. "I think it's time I explain everything to you guys."

Twinkle raises a paw. Dawn nods at her and she speaks.

"Is this about why you changed your mind from thinking that weapon training is meaningless to being all serious and dedicated in teaching me now?"

Dawn replies by saying, "Uh, that's kinda true. I used to think that training you held no significant meaning, but due to some specific circumstances, I changed my mind. Perhaps you could say that I'm training you so much because I have to make sure that you possess the strongest Elemental Power. It really is extraordinary how you hold two elements, ice and fire. It would be such a waste to see your Elemental Power not reach its fullest potential. Just like the rest of yourself, Twinkle."

Dawn then turns to Duke.

"The reason I didn't allow you to join us in our previous training sessions is because I have the feeling that you wouldn't need to. Being the new Fierdan permanently combined with Soulless has made you have as much strength and confidence in your abilities as you do today. Duke, it amazes me how quickly you learn and adapt in learning how to do specific techniques. In under a month, you've learned how to control your orange and black flames. Now today you are able to summon either colored fire at will."

Duke's face gets a little red. He slightly bows to Dawn and says, "Thank you."

I clear my throat. "What about me, Dawn? Why wasn't I allowed to train with you and Twinkle? I'm not as dangerous as Duke could possibly be, right?"

Dawn faces me. "No, of course you aren't. It's just that, well, you're younger than the rest of us. There's also the fact that you're a wolf and not a fox."

I frown. "Why should my species mean anything? Are you saying you were avoiding me only because I'm a wolf? You guys all know that I'm a fox trapped in a wolf's body, or a human trapped in an animal's body in larger terms just like the rest of you."

"That's not what I mean, Ardere."

I glare at her. "Oh really? Because it sure looks that way."

"I just want to make sure you don't get hurt. I care about you just as much as Twinkle and Duke do, if not more."

Duke and Twinkle object at the same time. "I highly doubt that. You definitely don't care about Ardere more than I do."

I look at the two of them. I love both of them so much. They're like my new family. Dawn, however, I'm not exactly sure of yet.

"Ardere, you have done so much good here," Dawn starts. "You were able to visit Twinkle when she was in isolation in her first life's ice castle. You informed her that she is in fact not the true ice Other since he lives in the human world. You made her realize that she is more incredibly special than she thought she was. You, Ardere, were the one who told Twinkle that she holds the power of ice fused with fire to create cold blue fire."

I nod my head. "I guess so."

Twinkle pipes in. "Yeah, that's right. And when we were alone together, you helped make my dark thoughts about there being no reason for me to live vanish and disappear to this day. I really do think you've brought happiness to both my life and Duke's."

Then Duke pipes in as well. "Yeah, she's right. When we first entered that forest, you were getting on my nerves. When we exited it, however, I'm not afraid to admit that I fell in love with you like a little brother. Your happiness has dripped down onto me, and I'm grateful for that. It was like you were the first person I ever spoke to who actually understood certain things. To hate your body, who you are; to have a complicated life regarding your parents. I called myself a freak so many times, but you said that wasn't true every time I said it."

"So you see, Ardere? You positivitely impacted both of the fire-based Others. You're so very intelligent."

I look up and stare into the center of their eyes. Green, amber, blue.

Then I try my best to hug all three of them at the same time.

TWINKLE

Right before Ardere breaks out of the hug, I pat him on the head.

"We all love you, dude," I say and briefly laugh.

"That's for sure," he says and laughs.

Duke clears his throat. "What specific circumstances were you talking about before, Dawn?"

"War. The weapon training is for war. Now that Taurel has escaped, it is of upmost importance that we all start using our Elemental Powers with weapons. Once Taurel finds out that Duke is not the only one who possesses a special power, he would likely want to capture the rest of us as well."

A few minutes later and we each grab a bow and arrow- Dawn with a green one, mine being blue, Duke's being red, and Ardere's being yellow.

Dawn points at herself, and her outfit changes into her training outfit. Then she points at me, which makes my clothes switch into my training ones. She hesitates before switching Duke's clothes into a dark red T-shirt with a black fire design in its center and a pair of black shorts.

I try to hold in my laughter when I look at Duke when he first realizes what Dawn did.

"Your bow and arrow is only for orange flames, so there's no point in keeping your black clothes on. We always change our clothes for training, anyway."

Duke just looks down at his shirt. "Oh okay."

Dawn looks at Ardere. "Sorry bud, I have no clothes for you."

He chuckles. "That's okay, Dawn. Wolves don't wear clothes like foxes do."

"But you're really a fox, right?" she says back.

They both laugh.

Then Dawn tells us to tie our hair up. When Dawn and I both have our hair tied up, she coughs at Duke.

"What?"

"Your hair is long enough, pretty boy."

"This is ridiculous," Duke mutters. "How much has my hair grown out over these past few months?"

Dawn smiles at him a few minutes later.

"Okay, now we can begin."

Dawn's arrows are earth-based, Duke's are fire-based, and Ardere's are lightning-based. I would say that mine are ice-based, but when the arrowheads come in contact with the target, they turn into flames just like Duke's. Except instead of being orange, mine are blue.

I notice how smiliar the end results of the fire target and lightning target are. The areas where the arrows penetrate the targets are left with burning holes.

Right after Dawn shoots another arrow and the arrowhead turns into a leaf, she says, "Fire and lightning are pretty similar. When they both strike, they both burn what they come in contact with. How they specifically do the burning is the only difference. Down to the basics, it's fire being with flames and lightning being with natural electricity and static energy. Perhaps that's a reason for why Duke and Ardere share such a great bond with each other in quite a short amount of time that they spent together."

I zone out from what anyone else is saying. I only focus on myself, my bow and the arrows, and the target.

We have weapons too. We won't give up without a fight. Taurel and Fierdan, I'm talking to you.

Twinkle's Story: Chapter 65

RISAK

The wolf leader glances at me for just a moment.

I step on the navy blue jacket and grumble, "What is it? Did you just realize how the entire team is a bunch of traitors?"

He shakes his head. "I think there is someone else here."

I step off of my jacket and pick it up.

"There's someone still here? That's great," I say as I start walking deeper inside the building.

The wolf uses his nose as a guide to lead us to a specific room. Before I can open the door, it's opened from the inside.

The person steps outside of the room and closes the door.

I'm perplexed on why. Out of all the people Taurel started off with, why is she the one that stayed?

"Sparkle? Where's Finny?" I ask her.

She looks down and sighs.

"He left too. I tried to stop him, but he still managed to escape. I am sorry, Risak sir."

The wolf nudges me. Under his breath, he says, "This is the only person who hasn't left you? That's sad."

I grunt. "Okay, there's nothing we can do about that. I guess we will have to manage."

Before we can walk that far, Sparkle pulls me aside.

"Why are you with a wolf? That goes against--"

I interrupt her. "It's fine. He's the wolf leader, and Taurel made me in charge of getting him while he does his own part of the mission."

"Where is Taurel? What mission are you talking about? Your car was stolen by Calliah."

Where is he? What are you even doing, Taurel?

"He should come back here soon. There's no need to worry about the tools we had in the car. We have extras here."

Sparkle looks up and smiles.

"Alright then. So when Taurel comes back, the fun part of searching for the Duke Fierdan begins?"

After a moment's hesitation, I nod. "Yes."

I'm not sure if she intended on making me able to hear her next words.

"And once we have him, I'll make sure he won't be able to destroy the world any further. The era of phantoms is coming to an end."

TAUREL

Sometimes risks have to be made.

I keep on running. I won't stop until I reach the Tall Tower.

I look at my broken left paw.

I think of my brilliant plan that not even Risak knows about.

It's cruel, sure. So is capturing the living Fierdan. He needs to feel pain. He needs to feel the pain of what he did to all those people.

I'll stop at nothing. There will be nothing in my way. Risks will have to be made. I will get Duke. Even if death is the only way to successfully do so.

The wolf leader and his son are the perfect distraction. They fit into the plan perfectly.

Please forgive me. Some things have more priority than others. That includes people's lives.

I smile and bare my fangs.

This might make us equally messed up. I don't care at all. I'll bring this madness to an end. Once and for all.

I reach into my pocket with my right paw. I take out the object.

It's a pocketknife. I stole it from Mr. Missing Finger. I can only hope he hasn't found out about that yet.

I decide to take a break from running.

I hold up the knife.

Sometimes risks have to be made.

ARDERE

The screams don't end for a little while. My ears are relieved when they don't hear any more loud noise coming from Duke. I assume that he must have lost his voice. I could have moved away from him, but for some reason that even I am unsure of I didn't.

I was wrong. He didn't lose his voice. Not exactly.

I feel embarrassed at the fact that it feels like I lost my breath. It happened so fast and suddenly.

I can only see the black of his shirt. This has got to be the tightest hug I've ever been given.

In a raspy voice, he says, "It'll be okay. I p-promise."

When I feel something wet on the top of my head, I break free of his grip. Slightly tilting my head up, I look at his face.

"What happened, Duke? What's going on? Should I fetch Dawn?"

He brings up a finger to his lips and shakes his head.

When he lowers his paw and opens his mouth, drool falls out of the lower corners of his mouth. It drips down to his chin.

It looks like he's smiling. Why is he smiling?

"No, don't go anywhere. Just stay here. Don't leave me."

Dark hair covers his eyes. I can't see his eyes. I don't know how he could have seen me.

Except if only it has happened. Duke knows we share a bond. Does he see me as a brother? A close friend?

I brace myself for the tight hug. I try to wrap my arms around him but it's hard for me to. I only just realized that he is trembling. It haunts me how much Duke feels like only skin and bones. I decide to just leave my arms down at my sides.

"I won't let them hurt you. I'll surrender my life before they can do anything to you," I hear him say.

"What are you talking about?" I ask with concern in my voice.

He only replies by saying, "I'll protect you with my life. I'll do my best to make sure you don't die because of me."

"Quit your crazy talk, Duke! You're worrying me even more now."

"Worry? It's okay to feel fear. I'll make sure you will remain safe, my wolf brother. If they want you that badly, then they will have to go through me first."

Now I'm trembling as well.

"Stop it, please stop it! Who do you mean by 'they', Duke? Can you put a name to it?"

It takes a few seconds for him to say anything.

"Bad people. Want us dead. Names can not be identified."

I don't know what to say next, so an awkward silence follows.

When I see Dawn running towards us, I find the words to say.

"Did the lightning bolt zapping out the fire terrify you that much?"

"No, not exactly. It symbolizes something. Something bad. I don't want to change into something even more bad. I don't want to turn into a phantom demon."

The hair is no longer covering his eyes. Was the amber always that intense?

"I don't want to die, Ardere."

TWINKLE

While walking around by myself, I suddenly hear Dawn. Unlike Duke, I understand that she is saying words.

"Why is she so loud?" I sigh.

Dawn repeats herself. "Everyone meet me inside the cave! It's time we had a meeting. It's urgent, so hurry up!"

I rub my temples. Dawn's loud voice combined with Duke's never-ending screaming is going to give me a headache. I need some peace and quiet, definitely not more loud noise.

"My life is already a mess as it is. What more can I lose?" I mutter to myself as I start walking towards the cave.

When I enter the cave, I go into the kitchen. The legs of a chair squeak along the floor as I pull the chair away from the table. I plop myself into the chair.

A few minutes pass before anyone else comes in.

When I see little Ardere dragging Duke by the paw behind himself, I blurt out, "What happened to you guys? What the heck were you two doing? You both look like wrecks!"

Duke doesn't reply; Ardere rolls his eyes. I lean back in the chair again.

Then finally Dawn comes in. Ardere sits at another chair. Dawn assists Duke, who I think is acting stubborn, to the chair next to Ardere's.

Instead of sitting in a chair, Dawn stands on it.

"What news does the old wise Dawn have for us?" Duke says in a sarcastic tone. His words sound slurred.

Dawn rolls her eyes but then gives him a sympathetic look.

"We have certain people coming after us. Taurel has escaped the building where he has been--"

Duke interrupts. "Yeah, yeah. I already know that. That Taurel guy and his team are hunting me down. What we should really discuss here is how to prevent from something happening to any of us."

"Duke strongly believes that they are going to try to kill me," Ardere says.

Then Dawn says, "Since this place is the only possible safe one left, I've decided to keep us inside. New rules are as followed: No one is to leave the cave without my permission. Now that Taurel has escaped, there are dangerous and uncertain times ahead. Well, at least that's what I'm getting from the guy I spoke to on my walkie-talkie. It's better being safe than sorry."

"What do you mean? Your house doesn't even have a door. This place isn't safe, so we have to move," I say.

Dawn looks down at me and smiles. "Okay, I'll be fair. Where could we possibly move to, Twinkle? This place is isolated from the public and is nearly impossible to find. If you have a better idea, I'm listening."

I swear under my breath. "Fine, you win. Good luck enforcing your new rules with the boys."

Dawn steps down from the chair. "You are dismissed."

I get up from my chair, and Ardere gets up from his.

"There's no need for you to help Duke, my Ardere dear. We need to speak about some things in private," she tells Ardere.

I turn around to face her. "What do you mean by that? Are you hiding even more things from me? If you two have to talk, then I'm staying."

Duke gets up from his chair.

"It'll be okay. Please go, Twinkle."

Something about his eyes makes me listen to him.

I leave the room after Ardere.

DUKE

One second I see Dawn at the cupboards, and the next I feel her fingertips brushing the back of my neck. I feel the green substance going inside my body.

I feel the effects immediately. I feel physically and mentally better.

"Thanks Dawn," I say as I watch her close a cabinet.

She nods her head slowly as she sits at the chair directly across from me.

"I have to ask you something," she begins.

"Yeah, what is it?"

Dawn lets out a long sigh before saying anything. "Did Fierdan tell you anything new? Are you hiding anything from Ardere?"

"What? No, not at all."

"Are you sure that a certain thing Fierdan has learned has not caused you to scream like that?"

Dawn leans forward. "Think, Duke, think. I need to know if you know."

I get up. "Know what? I have no idea what you're talking about."

She closes her eyes. "I've wiped certain memories from Fierdan's and your brains. I don't know how, but I'm getting the feeling Fierdan has gotten back a huge memory I wiped."

"You did what to us?"

"Wiped your memories. I'm sorry. I thought you were too dangerous to keep all your Fierdan memories."

She opens her eyes. She only whispers one word.

"Humanity."

That single word triggers my brain into thinking about Fierdan.

Flashes. Purple, yellow, repeat.

He looks so different. He's a cute little kid. Is that his brother? Is that girl Dawn?

Black. Everything is black. Are those dead bodies? Is that boy standing in the middle of the sea of black him? Is he Fierdan? What's happening to him? Is this what it means to lose your humanity?

Is she Dawn? She lost her humanity as well. This place looks traumatizing. Oh gosh.

Then, all at once, the flashes stop. I open my eyes, though I didn't even know I closed them.

"We were once humans," I breathe. "Humanity."

My heart is beating so fast.

Then I can sense Fierdan's screams in sync with mine.

When my mind clears, I look at Dawn in horror.

"What does this mean?"

Dawn shrugs.

That's the last thing I see before I black out.

hhhhnfgh hello

Ok. Hi. :)

I was on my TEO blog to update the fan-art page. Oh and a lot of the images don't show up anymore. Wow rip.

But after I edited the page, I noticed something. Someone else was viewing my blog.

I gasped in surprise when I saw the 1 change into a 2.

Who's there? Who are you? Speak to me.

Who dareth come to my abandoned trash blog?

Who?????

So anyway. Today has been rather boring. I was bored for a long time today.

Then I got less bored.

Woo, go me.

This song reminds me of Duke (during and post _____), Taurel, Fierdan, and Soulless. Haha yeah. Spoilers. There's so much no one else knows. >:)

Especially the beginning.

Metamorphosis~ Blue Stahli (Life Theory Remix)

That's all I really had to say.

What luck?

Hey guys.

It's been St. Patrick's Day. The day of luck.

Huh, that's interesting.

It's also Friday.

Out of every day this week, today has felt the least lucky. Every other day felt like a Friday. Except today it didn't.

Talk about irony.

.....

It's hard to not think about some things.

Mistakes. So many. My bad.

.....

I might post a new chapter this weekend. Hmm perhaps.

I feel like I don't say this enough (probably because it's the main character most like myself and I hate myself :'}) but anyway. I love Twinkle. I love her.

Haha ok sure.

I don't have anything more to say.

I'll keep some material to myself. Perhaps I'll post it at a different time.

Take care.

dumb foolish cryptid

I've been thinking about that word a lot today. Cryptid.

The title is referring to me. Um lol.

I'm dumb and a fool.

I regret every post I make. It's incredible really. I regret everything I do. I keep on messing up. I didn't mean to.

I don't want to bring my feelings back, so I've been posting story stuff instead.

But at the same time. I regret the story. I'm scared that people will notice the obvious flaws. I'm scared that other people who read my blog in the past have come back in silence. I'm scared that they have come back to see me posting story chapters and related stuff again.

I want some past viewers to notice me posting chapters again. But I also don't want other past viewers noticing my story writing again.

I don't know. I'm scared either way.

I have some more from last post. Er, kinda?

- Remember the doctor and arctic wolf that knew Calliah from the beginning chapters? Yeah, me neither. They've been zapped from my memory. Haven't heard from them much. What fox and arctic wolf conflict?

- "You're not a fox." (You're not a human.) ... hhhngh that line with its spoilers.

- I can't believe I once thought Chapter 16 was going to be the saddest chapter. Oh, how I was wrong. There are way sadder chapters than that one that are yet to come.

- I find it stupid how I used to make announcements before each chapter saying a violence warning just because blood was in the chapter context. Those chapters weren't even that violent.

- I know Chapter 64 wasn't that violent. I mean it was all memories. It all took place in the past. It's not in present time. I just put in that violence warning because a lot of the chapter was basically about a murder scene. But yeah. I guess you can say I intentionally left out the gory details. Left it up for interpretation or something.

- In upcoming chapters, I'm going to try to write as violently detailed as I feel comfortable that I can do. Blood, body parts, weapons, tools... haha yeah.

- The Duke transformation II. (Not first because Night of the Black Flames was the first.) Oh wow.

- The main Twinkle transformation as well. Not in the same way as Duke's though. Oh wow.

- In my story, Jamaa is basically only fox, wolf, and arctic wolf territory. The land of canines.

- But when they find out what a real fox is. A life of lies. Wow, deep shiz.

Yeah, I think that's it.

Anyway. Just gotta say this.

I feel helpless. I wish I could find a way to help certain people. But I don't know how. I can't do anything.

You're sad and stressed. You're probably lonely too.

You don't even have to say it. I already know.

Who do I mean? An irl friend? An online friend?

Friends?

Maybe it's to the both of them.

So I'll be the happy and laughing one. Since you have more painful troubles than me.

I wish I could help things be easier for you. But in the end, I can't do anything for you.

If I say anything, I'll just end up making things worse.

I'm not good with people.

My Mind with Story Things

Hi there. I'm Cutepups. Welcome back to my heckin blog. :D

I didn't make a post yesterday because I was very tired nearly all day. I took a few naps. I wasted my snow day by sleeping. Haha wow.

Yesterday was pi day. 3.14. 3/14. I was such a math nerd on that day in 2015.

Today is 3/15. The day when Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times or something.

Wow, days sure are interesting. Haha.

I had a delay opening for school today. School beginning at 9 instead of 7 is so much better. It's a nice feeling.

Well anyway, I'm going to bullet the story things in my mind. They're weird lol sorry about that.

Gym class gives me story ideas. I'm weird ok.

This isn't in any order really. I'm just putting them down in bullets.

So yeah lol.

~*~*~*~

- I have so much traditional art that I still didn't post, nevertheless took a photo of yet. When will I post them? Who knows.

- The anatomy in my characters is so inaccurate. I'm sorry, my characters. You all deserve so much better. Sorry my art is unfortunate.

- Dawn is just being weird in that last skit. Pfft what no. That's not true. No relate. What no of course not.

- That'll be a plot twist though.

- I really want/ed to change the names (Jamaa, Zios, Mira) to other names. Because like. I feel uncomfortable keeping it related to the game. It's very creepy, in my opinion. I know I should. Right? But I'm lazy. I'm thinking of the characters finding out those weren't the real names when they're in the human world.

- About the human world, I need to think of a creative name for the world nation.

- I'm thinking of Danny finding out more about his parents in the human world. And then it'll relate to Dawn finding about her parents. It's complicated.

- If I even get that far at all. Honestly. I don't even know.

- I'm planning out to make certain characters. Not straight. Because I can. Not saying who though. They haven't been released into the wild story yet. If I make a sequel, they will then. But perhaps. This includes some already released characters. *winks* By straight I mean both heteroromantic and heterosexual. By the way.

- Oh gosh lmao. I remember back in 2014 and 2015 when I would base Duke and Fierdan on characters I liked. Especially in the order of Four (from Divergent), Rin (from Blue Exorcist), and Kaneki (from Tokyo Ghoul). Wow, I was so weird. Is this still kinda true? Hmm, who really knows? Ha, ha, ha.

- Sometimes I like to think of the story being a movie. And I like to think of the Duke actor a lot. And how he's cool on social justice issues.

- If I could turn Twinkle's Story into an animation, that'll be like my impossible dream. That'll be cool. I can't animate though.

- I have some ship names (I don't approve all of them as romantic ships of course), and I'm going to list them now. Hehe.

- Dukle, Dafier, Dufier, Souldan, Dawkle Finke, Spinny, Tausak

- I guess you can find out the two characters in each one. I'm thinking about this too much. What the heck.

- Dawn and Twinkle are like my queens and daughters. By the end of the story and everything, they would have gone through a ton of crap. Like gosh. They've been through a lot.

- Dawn in the human world. Oh gosh, lots of feels.

- This is how I see their heights as. I'm just gonna list them as human heights. I'm too lazy to translate it into the metric system. Sorry about that.

- Dawn being between 5'1" and 5'3". Twinkle being between 5'4" and 5'5". Duke being between 5'6" and 5'8". Ardere (standing up) being mid to high 4'. Fauna being around the same as Ardere's height. If Soulless is a fox-human like the rest of them, they (he?) would probably be between 5'10" and 6' since he's taller than Fierdan. Oh and Fierdan's brother is pretty tall. Not too tall. Taller than the rest of them. Haha yeah.

- I'm thinking of Calliah being in her late 30s to early-mid 40s currently in the story. She's not as old as I originally had planned.

- Taurel and Risak are probably in their mid to late 30s.

- I think I'm gonna make there be a 3 year age difference between Jamaa and the human world. In other words, while Duke and Twinkle are 14 in Jamaa, they're the equivalent of 17 in the human world. Like it'll make sense, I feel. Duke struggling and not being able to live till 15. It sounds better in my head to make it like he won't be able to live till 18.

- I bet this is all very confusing. And you're like. What the heck is this Cutepups girl even saying?

- I've been learning about nuclear weapons and their effects (so far the atomic bomb and hydrogen bomb) in my history class. And for some reason, I like to think of how Jamaa first looked when my precious children (oops I mean Danny and Dawn) first came to Jamaa. Anyway, I'm thinking of the reasons why the land was filled with black ash and goop from everyone else's rotting dead bodies. Perhaps a part of building Jamaa was the use of a nuclear bomb. And Danny and Dawn were immune to its effects for some reason? Possibly because of Zios/their parents? Interesting, right?

- Guys. What if the black goop in Cincernum where Fierdan lives is the same black goop from when he first came to Jamaa? The hell substance. Ooh.

- I'm thinking of ending Twinkle's Story with Twinkle being epic. I'm also planning on making the last chapter be just in her POV. Just like the beginning chapters. But better written. Well, all I know is that there won't be a Duke POV for the last few POVs. Fierdan POV? Maybe. I kinda doubt that though.

- I know I did/will make this story have romance and intimate (physical, emotional...) themes. But just saying again. I'm aro ace. I feel no attractions. At least I think so. I don't know anything about myself for sure. I haven't experienced any attractions, so I can't say I actually relate. But I like writing out this stuff through the eyes of different characters. If anything sounds too off, just blame it on me being me. Ok lol.

- Soulless still is an abusive demon. Don't forget.

I can't think of anything else right now. Guess that's it.

Updated Blog Stuff + AJ Luck

Hi. Tomorrow's a snow day. Nice. :)

Since I have time to go on my computer today, I did. And I got some things done. At long last.

I updated the Support Page. I moved things around. So yeah.

I forgot I had another blog, but then I remembered. I updated the chapters page on it, and I might update the other pages later. I ditched that blog because I quit Twinkle's Story for almost a year. But now that I'm typing chapters again, I guess I should go back to it.

I don't like the series title I made. But anyway, here's the link to my blog. It's the story blog.

http://the-extraordinary-others-series.blogspot.com/

The name sounds so cheesy now. *cringes at my 15 year old self*

Anyway, just thought of this random question. Does anyone else feel like the characters (pfft I mean Duke) have aged 2 years since the beginning chapters? Or is that another weird author thing?

Or maybe it's because I've aged 2 years since the beginning of the story. Wow, would you look at that.

I found these songs by All Good Things. They're good, wow.

Now onto AJ.

Here's the RIM:
A pale green Rare Clover Balloon

There's also this new Lucky Den or whatever the actual name is. I took some pictures. I also bought a blue Clover Blanket. I like it on Precious.

There's a rainbow slide that ends in a pot of gold. Precious would rather have marshmallows than gold, but it's alright.

There are these cool trees and this strange symbol. It reminds me of either a Breaking Benjamin or Bring Me The Horizon album cover. Haha, is AJ giving me a sign? It's probably a St. Patrick's Day thing though. I'm such a fool.

There's light shining through the break in the clouds. It's hitting Precious as if she's actually important. Haha, that's funny.

Omg the beginning of  that New Divide song reminds me of a scene that involves Ardere and Duke. Gosh, I'm so mean. Shun me.

I want to say it before it's too late. I love Ardere. I love that cheerful wolf kid. My precious little son.

Inside, there's this stage. Great, a place where Precious can feel powerful as she protests about the lack of marshmallows everywhere.

The great blue sea. I like how the tile design and the horizon look.

There's another ray of light shining through a break in the clouds. Precious thinks she's so special.

And of course, the skit.

Sparkle: Do you have the stats this week?
Finny: Yes ma'am.
Sparkle: Good.
(recording)
Sparkle: *in fake cheerful voice* Hello! It's Monday which means Rare Item Monday! Finny has the stats for this week. Go Finny!
Finny: Yeah sure okay. Today is Monday, March 13, 2017. This week's RIM is the Rare Clover Balloon sold for 450 gems. It is only sold in a pale green color.
Sparkle: Now isn't that cool, viewers? Go do your nerdy thing now, Fin.
Finny: *sighs* Fine. The equilibrium is 300 below what it was two years ago. In 2015, I remember the equilibrium being between 700 and 750. Now that it's at 450, I can only assume that inflation has dropped since inflation makes prices of items skyrocket.
Sparkle: Thank you, my boy!
Finny: Um okay.
Sparkle: That's it for this week. Have a great week everyone!
(stops recording)
Finny: Why were you being so enthusiastic on camera?
Sparkle: It's called having to keep the viewers engaged.
Finny: Wow, you're such a fake.
Sparkle: Excuse me?
Finny: You pretend you're a happy person on camera when really you're not.
Sparkle: That's such a lie! I'm such a happy person.
Finny: You're a big liar. You're a bitter girl.
(Dawn magically appears in room through a green cloud)
Dawn: Hello. I can still use these creepy magical entrances. Did you miss them? I missed them.
Sparkle: *sighs* What do you want?
Dawn: *walking around room* What do I want? Nothing really.
Sparkle: Then get out of my room!
Dawn: And why would I do that?
Sparkle: Finny, do something!
Finny: No, Dawn can stay.
Sparkle: Ugh fine.
Dawn: *stops walking around* I've sensed relationship tension between the two of you. Come tell Dawn what's wrong. I shall be your mom friend.
Sparkle: None of us know where our moms are. Do you?
Dawn: *laughs* Oh gosh no. My mind is at a total blank when it comes to the subject of my parents.
Sparkle: Then why do you call yourself mom?
Finny: I think she wants to be the substitute for our moms.
Dawn: Yeah that.
Sparkle: Oh okay.
Dawn: I have theories that my parents were executed.
Finny: Oh. Oh wow. That's harsh, dude.
Dawn: It's okay. I don't remember them at all.
Sparkle: You're so weird.
Dawn: *laughs* I also think that I might be related to them.
Fierdan, calling from Cincernum: That's not true.
Dawn: Actually, never mind that. I better hurry. Duke has to learn something.
Fierdan: Hell no. The heck? Zios just forced her into our family and adopted her because she was an orphan. Besides, Zios is my father as unfortunate as that is. Zios isn't hers.
Night Crow: *stares at Fierdan suspiciously*
Fierdan: Stop humiliating me, you filthy bird.
Duke: Oh hey just come in here. That's totally fine, Dawn.
Dawn: Ah, that's good to hear!
Duke: *sighs* I was being sarcastic.
Dawn: I don't care. I need you for something.
Duke: For what? I was about to get Ardere to play a game with me.
Dawn: I need you to light a fire. An orange one.
Duke: Why?
Dawn: Just do it.
Duke: Okay fine. Where?
(a few minutes later)
Duke: Here?
Dawn: Haha yeah. Just under there in that little confined area.
Duke: Okay. *makes fire appear at claw but fails to light it on the thing*
Dawn: I said light it.
Duke: I'm trying! This is hard.
Dawn: See? This is why we must train you to fire bend.
Duke: To what?
Dawn: *laughs* Oops sorry, wrong story plot.
Duke: You're so weird, Dawn. It astonishes me how weird you are.
Dawn: *pats Duke on the head* You're a silly Mr. Grumps.
Duke: Stop that. It makes me uncomfortable when you do that.
(the thing gets lit)
Dawn: Ah, look at that. You did it!
Duke: *surprised* Wow, I guess I did.
Dawn: I'm so proud of you!
Duke: Um okay.
Dawn: I am full of love! :D :D :D
Duke: How did you even say that?
Dawn: :D :D :D !!!!!!

There, a skit has appeared.

Nice.
