Actually, there were 3 areas that were involved with the terrorist attack on 9/11/2001. The Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and a field somewhere in Pennsylvania. I don't know if you learn about 9/11 as much as me, if you live on let's say the other side of the country. 'Cause I live in between all those places. So umm... yeah.
Over 3,000 innocent people died that day. In my history class yesterday, we watched this documentary about 9/11. It made us learn how bad and devastating that day was. Actually, I have to complete homework about 9/11 for class. Ugh, homework! >.<
And my dad was driving home from his work (he works close to NYC), and he told me just yesterday everything that happened. Such as all the radio stations and TV channels all about the same thing- the terrorist attacks. And my parents even said that that day was a clear-skied day. Which only makes the whole of this, seem even more devastating. I think I was umm... sleeping when that happened. Ya. In the morning, me being a baby and all... :3
So yeah. Never Forget. Remember. Even though that day was so tragic. I don't really know what else to add to this post about this topic, so I conclude this with a picture. Ooh... Ahh...
On a more happier note...
And now I'm listening to this somewhat inspirational and believers song. So... uh... Through all the hardships, you've got to believe. And as a character in my story will say in an upcoming chapter, "We all fight the same battle, the Battle of Life." So yeah. An extremely small preview of what will be in the next chapter. A lot of important message things are going to be said by someone. And finally, my quote I made on the top of my blog, "There's a part in all of us... that wants to be free." will be explained. So are you excited for the next chapter? Eh, eh, eh? Okay then...
And actually, this song I'm listening to is very slightly like my story. For right now though, not really. More like a closing song. I'm so obsessed with my own stories. XD
Oh really? I haven't even said the title of the song yet. Wow. Ok so it's called "Lived a Lie" by You Me at Six. I first got introduced to this song from my brother who would repeatedly put this song on in the car. I like this song too. It's so believers-like. ^w^
Here's a link to the song (lyrics) owo:
Oh now I think why brother's kinda obsessed with this song. It has something to do with Fifa14 (that soccer organization group). Well, according to the comments.. (He's obsessed with soccer, by the way..) So yeah. I might make another post later today. Heh, heh, heh...
Bye! ;)
Actually, the airplane in that crash-landed in the field in Pennsylvania was actually supposed to go to the White House, and the terrorists over took the plane, planning for it to go there, with about 33 passengers on board, but the passengers over took the terrorists and steered it away from the white house. They saved many lives, by taking away their lives - every one on that plane died.
ReplyDeleteLearned about it in LA. :,(
I will always remember, even if I wasn't there to see it.
Yeah. The 3rd plane was supposed to go to the White House or the Capitol building, but the passengers fought back against the terrorists. I just kinda said the wrong words in this post. I meant to say that that's where all the hijacked planes crashed, not planned crashing at. So you're right, Gamer.
DeleteMy history teacher also told my class that on that day, the President was in Flordia (I think..) and was reading books to kindergarteners (since school started a little before then), and when he got the messages about the attacks, they ordered him to go to Nebraska to go as far away from where the terrorist attacks were held.
And yes. We should always remember all those innocent Americans that died that day. And also those firefighters (as an example) who risked their lives to try to save the victims trapped in the WTC.
:O omg I just learned that my neighbors (the father) worked right across the street from the WTC- when it happened. And my dad celebrated my grandma's (his mom's) 50th birthday at a restaurant on top of the World Trade Center. Whoa... :o
DeleteAnd I also learned that the terrorists tried once before to attack the WTC but failed. In 1993, they crashed the building into the WTC's basement instead. It still caused excessive damage though.
I'm not that good at explaining devastating, TRUE events in my posts here. I think your 9/11 post is more explanatory than mine.
Is it a coincidence that it happened on 9/11? Especially since 9/11 is like that phone number you call for emergencies (911).?
And on the 9/11 memorial list, there was this guy who was only 18 that died. Such a tragedy! :'(
Never forget.
Oh yeah. When I said, "Through all the hardships, you've got to believe.", I was referring to 9/11. That day definitely was a hardship, and 'believe' is like the hope or something. Hard to explain.
ReplyDeleteLol wut? :P
ReplyDeleteIt's everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI do not know except this incident happened on the 11th of September.
There was a devastating incident in the past. Around the 1900's. Like 199 or 1997 something. Bombs, riots, ouch.
The day on 9/11, when two terrorist (hyjacked) and bombed the twin towers, the World Trade Center, there was no way out, they couldn't go down the stairs or the elevators.... Many were killed
