So before I go into all that, first let's have the Blog Shout-Out! :D
This blog is fairly new, and has interesting posts. And if you're into "Warriors", there's also a fanfic of it there as well. I'm giving this shout-out because it looks like I'm the only other one there who actually comments, and I think she deserves more comments. So without further ado... here's that blog link! http://mutantbunny101.blogspot.com/
(Haha. You're welcome, Mutant! ^o^)
~*~*~*~
So now onto the other main topic of this post. So... yeah. The title's pretty straightforward. So it shouldn't be too hard for you guys to understand, right? Eh whatever. I'll explain anyways. Because I want to. Eh.
{To those peeps who just found out about my blog a few days ago, I'm referring to the story I'm currently writing on my blog- aka "Twinkle's Story". And I think I should've said it a long time ago, but I'll just say it now. Haha. It's like this, "(mature)10+ (?)". Because... well, yeah.. XD (I'm very evil. >:3) Just clarifying! ^.^}
Okay so. I know for the past few chapters, I've been posting them on the weekends. But remember when I used to usually type chapters on weekdays? Well, I'm not going to anymore. I'll explain later on in this post exactly why..
Which brings me to when I'll post a new chapter. There won't be a new chapter (Chapter 22) in a while. Why? Well... I'm extremely busy this weekend. Going to spend practically all weekend long to go to "Parents' (Family too) Weekend" at my sister's college university, going to NYC one day to visit my famous artist/sculptor cousin who's visiting NYC from Venezuela to showcase his artwork/sculptures (pretty cool, right? c;), and to go birthday shopping for my brother's birthday which is one of the weekdays after the weekend. (I'll be the only child left in my family! :O XD) So not much time to access my computer and type up a chapter.
But on a more positive note, I finished Chapter 21 fairly nicely! ^-^
'Fairly nicely'? Lol what? I love how I ended that chapter! XD
Umm..... Okay, back on track! So now I'm going to explain why I'm only going to post story chapters on weekends now (so less frequently... .o.).
I can't type long posts (with lots of words and all...) on my iPod. I can only type long posts (*cough, cough* story chapter posts) on my computer. I just find it easier.. So anywho, I can access my computer mostly during the nighttime. Or the evening. That's when I'm mostly on my computer doing AJ-related things. (Yes, "Twinkle's Story" counts as an AJ-related thing.) For every chapter now and going on in my story, each takes at least 3 hours to type up. At least. Here's an example.: Chapter 21. (Wow, I use that chapter a lot, huh?) Started typing it at around 9 pm. Ended typing it almost at 1 am. And that's a chapter that I had everything planned out beforehand! Well, I actually do add some more details to it when I'm actually typing the chapter- mostly for first paragraphs. So imagine these upcoming chapters... Ones that I didn't have planned out as long as the other one... Yeah.. e.e
And another reason why I can't/won't post story chapters on weekdays (Monday to Friday) anymore is because of this dreadful thing called... School. By the looks of it, I usually finish typing a chapter at around midnight. I have to wake up at 6 am for school. If I still post story chapters on weekdays, that means I'll get less than 6 hours of sleep. (Because I skim over my chapter again to make sure I don't have any senseless typos or whatever, after I publish it, and then go to bed.) If you guys don't already know, that's not good! And yeah. School is during the weekdays. And school is like pretty hard stuff. So many quizzes, tests, projects, homework assignments... Yeah, you get my point. And I'm in Grade 9. So I can't really 'skip' homework assignments, and do poorly on quizzes/tests anymore. Actually, I'm pretty bummed right now. I thought I did pretty well on a math quiz. I didn't get a good grade. Ergh. And then I have to do projects in 2 other subjects. Woohoo. (<- sarcasm .-.) e.e
And to top it off, I have other things to do on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (also the days when I get the most homework). So that's also a reason why I don't go on AJ as often during the weekdays anymore. Eeyup. And even if I do somehow don't get homework in any of my classes one day, that still doesn't mean that I don't have any homework. I get homework for these 2 different days called "A days" and "B days". So 2 different homework days. And hey. It's very, very unlikely to get absolutely no homework for one day, anyways.
And to tell you guys the truth, after I post chapters now, I get slightly nervous and stressed by what your reactions will be to them- such as in the comments.. So yeah.. That's not good during the school week, either!
But hey, you never know. When there's like school breaks/days off or whatever, it might (very unlikely though) be possible for me to post a chapter during the weekdays then. No promises though.
So when can you expect a new chapter? Hmm.... Probably next weekend. Not this weekend. Next weekend. So around a month since last chapter, right? Ugh life.. And that's only if I don't get crammed with homework over the weekends.. >.<
Whelp, I hope that's enough reasons why I can't/won't post "Twinkle's Story" chapters on weekdays anymore! ^.^
So... That's pretty much it. Bye guys!
Thank you so much for the shout out! X3 You're the best. I'm trying to catch up on Twinkle's story, I have lots of reading ahead (because I just started a new book called Blood of Olympus). It's really good so far (I'm on chapter 4 :p) keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteNo problem! :P
DeleteThanks- again! XD
I understand! Strangely enough, I will also be gone this weekend! o.o
ReplyDeleteanywho, see ya around cutepupios. (I won't be posting that much either :()
Meh, we understand.
ReplyDeleteI have this story I planned out, but, often times, I twist the story from their main purpose. I love how they end up!
Thanks for understanding.
DeleteTwinkle's Story is "(mature)10+"? Really? I started reading Twinkle's Story when it was at Chapter 7 and so far there isn't anything too violent. I would say "(mature)8+" There is blood, but hey, in Warriors there is blood too! And 7 year-olds read Warriors. I'm going to ask my 8 year-old brother to read Twinkle's Story. Mwuahahahaha! XD
ReplyDelete-ca1412
There's more violence later on in it..
DeleteAre- Are you sure about that? O.o
Eh, whatever. More readers. Yey! ^o^ X3
I actually have an idea for a chapter that's coming up soon that's gonna be one of the most violent things I've ever wrote. >:D
Poor characters... ;-;
