Raven Tutorial (PicMonkey)

Since I know that some of you (or maybe just one person- idk) asked how I put the raven on my blog's header, I'll give you a brief tutorial on how to put ravens on your screenshots/pictures as well! ^.^

(You know, that raven in the upper right..)

Alrighty, let's get started!

So first off, go to www.picmonkey.com. (It's a online photo editing website.) When you arrive at the homescreen, it should look like this.:
(I go to Edit and then Computer for when I edit my pictures.)

So after that, select an image (screenshot, picture) from your computer's picture files. (I didn't feel like sharing my computer's picture files to the public, so I'm not gonna show you what that looks like. It's straightforward: just select (aka click on) an image.)

(In this case, I chose to edit the night sky AJ wallpaper screenshot I took.)

Then your screen should look like this while you're in the editing stage. (Except you have a different picture being edited, of course.):

I hovered my cursor over the apple in the list on the far left. That's why it's highlighted blue. It symbolizes Themes. Click on it.

After that, scroll down until you reach Witches. Then click on it.

Now inside the Witches file, scroll down until you see Voracious Ravens. Click on that.

Here are the different forms of ravens you can choose from.:

Click on them one at a time and drag them onto your picture that you are editing.

(In this case, I colored the ravens white so you can see them clearly on the blackish background of the picture I chose to edit. They automatically appear black, but you can change the colors of each raven. Here are what they look like.:)

You can edit and move the ravens by clicking on them. This is what shows up when you edit it.:
(The ravens are just one of the many different types of overlays PicMonkey offers.)

You know the specific one you're editing by a square with tiny circles in the corner showing up. You can edit the color of it, how much it should fade (clearly visible in appearance or more difficult to see), it's Blend Mode (how specifically it should appear- comes in different modes), it's size (by clicking on one of the tiny circles in each corner of the square that I mentioned in the beginning of this paragraph- can be smaller or bigger), and you can rotate it in different directions.

When you're done and satisfied with your edit, click Save on the top of the PicMonkey editing screen.

Voila, enjoy your masterpiece! ^.^

(This is how it came to be for mine.:)

Hope I helped!

See ya! c:
