12745-12715

Hi there! ^.^

So yeah. I'm here for my 3rd post today. (Wow Cutepups, what's with all these posts today?)

I don't know why I'm suddenly posting so much. O.O

I'll make this post semi-quick. It's getting kinda late. And I want to watch at least one more episode of that show before I have to go to sleep. And I want to get a full night's rest. *awkward laughter* o.<

Anyway. Back to the point!

I bet most of you are probably thinking something along the lines of...:

"Oh god, I don't understand what this post title means again. Does this mean this is another one of Cutepups' random posts? Listen Cutepups, I'm getting sick and tired of this peeing cactus nonsense."

(Yeah, I'm getting tired of it, too. | No way... *sarcasm*)

But what if I tell you this?

The actual meaning of this post's title is extremely serious, and basically like a historical event.

Mhmm.

So... Ugh, I'll just tell you all of it now.

Yesterday (January 27, 2015) marked the 70th anniversary of the liberation at Auschwitz (January 27, 1945).

So... To make it simpler to understand. The "1" = January. The "27" = 27. "45" = '45 (the year of liberation). "15" = '15 (this current year).

Understand it now? Sorta? Not really? ..................

So to basically sum it up so all you little kiddies can understand, 1/27/1945 (27/1/1945 as it's spelled in different countries) was a day when history changed. But unlike in most cases, for the better.

Okay.

Auschwitz was a concentration camp (death camp) during World War II. (No, I'm not going to excuse my language) It was, to sum it up in 2 words, a "living Hell".

Yeah, the truth. ......................................

And there was this atrocity during World War II called the "Holocaust". In other words, one of the biggest genocides in recorded history. Jewish genocide.

Okay, moving quickly along now!

Okay so. There was this specific group of German officers who caused this epidemic to happen- the Nazis.

And yeah....

Oh hey. If you feel like researching more about it, then go do that.

Oh, how cool. I have a cousin-cousin-cousin (idk who lol ugh) who wrote about their experiences during the Holocaust. (Yes, I'm Jewish.) It's called (I think lol) Hitler's Death March. Interesting, huh?

K.

Don't stalk me.

Mk.

Oh shoot. It's almost 11. Dang it! >.<

Uh anyways. On this date I keep on mentioning, the allying forces (like the "good guys" such as the Britsh) came in to like "save the day" from the "bad guys" (the Nazis and such). In the Auschwitz (maybe others as well, like Burma- or is Bein Kenau ?) camps.

Well.... um... Yeah.

I felt like I should inform you guys on this topic. Also because I'm learning all about Auschwitz in my LA1 class in school.

To be honest here, I didn't even know that yesterday (1/27/15) marked the 70th anniversary of the liberation, until today. When I learned all about it in my LA1 class. And I just finished watching this special CNN report about the survivors and their stories. (Like an hour ago.) Just so, so incredible. Their stories... Everything.

Heh. That's all I really have time for.

So yeah. Informative post. Hmm....

Oh. One more thing. Since this is a serious post, please be courteous and type serious comments in the comments for this post. You don't have to go type up an essay or something, either. Heh.

Because I told you to! Thank you.

Good night.

(Or Good morning/afternoon/evening, to you.)

(Signature to brighten up this post a bit. Eh.)
