I'm serious when I said I most unlikely won't be making any new posts at this time next week. Why? I'm going to my college orientation. It lasts a few days. I'm not ready for it at all, so I've been nervous and stressed about it lately.
Yeah, haha. Ah..
Hmm, what else? Well this doesn't relate to the main points of this post based on the title, but I've been listening to music and doing nothing else. I appreciate music so much.
(If you're wondering what I've been listening to while typing this and the last post, it's either (for the most part): songs by sleeping at last, the greatest showman soundtrack, or those two new tøp songs.)
Wonderful! <3
And now onto the main points of the post! Hooray!
-------------------
The 70 and 76 are about [Twinkle's Story] Chapter 70 and Chapter 76.
(Also, just watch me finally post Chapter 76 a full year after I posted Chapter 75. And yes, I know I have grammatical errors in that chapter. I hate them, too.)
More specifically, I want to talk about the beginning of Chapter 70 and Chapter 76.
But before that, a proper explanation!
For a little over a month, I've been coming up with a plan to make Ryen (aka Fierdan's older brother who I don't like as much in the story because he's a *** *cough*) have a longer and more detailed POV in Chapter 76.
Since I didn't make Fierdan reveal his brother's name until after Chapter 70, I just called Ryen's POV, "Anonymous POV." Now that we all know his name, the next time he'll be in a chapter, I'm using his name.
Well anyway, I have always been planning on beginning Chapter 76 with Ryen's POV. Only recently have I updated my plans for it to be longer and less so painfully short.
So how does all that relate to Chapter 70? Well, you see, my new plan for Ryen's POV in Chapter 76 is kinda like a part two of the first POV of Chapter 70.
And it all connects to the F word. ;)
(you guys: omg stop it, cutepups! that's bad! :/)
The F word is Fun. :•)
(you guys: oh.. phew.)
Just in Chapter 76. I totally wrote Chapter 70 so I'll have a chapter of Fierdan repeating (and yelling), f*ck, because.. I just had to write him shouting swears. :)
This year, I've come to realize that I don't care about keeping the swear words as their weird censored versions. For example, I've been tempted to change that iconic (and messed up, obviously.. umm...) flashback scene when Fierdan says to Z-the-sh¡tface-father, "I freaking hate you!" to (not censoring it in writing, so *ahem*) "I fucking hate you!" (or however that one sentence actually went, but he fully meant it as saying "fucking".. ok).
(you guys: o-o)
Anyway! So now you know the F word involved in Ryen's POV in Ch. 76 is "fun" meanwhile the F word in Ch. 70 is supposed to be Fierdan repeatedly saying "fuck" (like the saint that he is ... get it? he's nothing close to that like he's definitely more of a sinner alright).
Actually, the "fun" does change to that other word later on in that Ryen POV. So, that'll happen. Fun.. :-)
Oh and I should also say that Ch. 76 Ryen gets haunted again by that version (idk lol) of Fierdan that was at his bedside in Ch. 70. He didn't really get over that. (Poor dude. :(.)
But the Ch. 76 flashback:
- Pre-Fierdan is being so good and nice. Like, he asks Ryen to go do some childish (childhood?) thing with him and Dawn because he wants Ryen to be with them....
- And Ryen is.. well, my feelings are complicated about him. On one hand, I hate him because of how he reacts. But on the other, I have such a deep sadness whenever I think about him because he's just overcome with frustration and just vents it out on his little brother. And how he (Ryen) was working with their father, so he didn't really have the freedoms that his brother and Dawn had.
(The "fun" is involved in the flashback.)
I promised a flashback scene in Chapter 76. Well, there it is.
(Every flashback involving Pre-Fierdan, Ryen, and/or Dawn during their younger days makes my heart hurt. It's so sad and other unpleasant feelings. </3)
Ryen gets obsessed and paranoid. So yeah, that happens.
Psst.. I don't think they've ever learned what it's like to be like "normal" brothers. Interactions with each other? That are "normal?" They don't know what that's supposed to be like. Their parents (yes, I'm totally blaming their mother too) caused them to have such a screwed up childhood.. and of course, ruined the rest of their children's lives.
I'm very tired. And my arm hurts a little. If I'm forgetting something, I'll just include it in another post.
(OHYEAH! I remember seeing The Greatest Showman! Not particularly original in terms of plot, but DANG IT as a musical it was perfect! <3)
ReplyDeleteBoth of those boys have been through a lot, huh? Although, I suppose it could be worse.
... Somehow.
I saw it a few weeks ago, and I agree with you- even though it is supposed to be based off a true story (I mean I know it is, lol). I really like the songs; more than the movie itself, I'd say.
DeleteYep. What is The Worst? Who knows? So maybe, yes, they technically could have been through worse. But I don't think I can put myself through that to write it.
youll be fine ! in college stuff that is (at worst, itll probably just be rlly boring)
ReplyDeleteanyways ik you think Ryen is bad but i still like him for some reason .. i think he tried really hard (still likes most of your “evil” characters)
thanks, A! Ah yeah, I feel like everyone is saying how "interesting" college will be, when really I'd think it's boring, and I'm kinda scared for that too. I'm stressing over the stuff I have to do for college now. (heck..)
DeleteOh haha, I do like my "evil" characters. I just have complicated feelings when it comes to them. Ryen is very cold and mean at times, which makes me think he's bad and makes me upset at him, but I still like him a lot. And, aaaaahhhh.
