In one of my classes today, we were discussing sleep. And.. I ended up feeling valid. I feel valid now. :)
On weekdays, I usually sleep between 5 and 6 hours a night (not including my afternoon naps that I take sometimes). It turns out that the majority of my classmates also sleep for 6 hours a night during the week. So I'm not the only one who's like that.
Well, Cutepups, that's not very surprising. Ok that's true.
Apparently, it's common for teens to get the most tired during the middle of the day (my teacher said between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, for example). And would you look at that? Whenever I take a nap after school, I nap either starting at 3-something or 4-something. Like, dang, that's my nap time.
I feel like I must be so sad and boring for feeling so valid upon hearing this news. :')
Oh and I felt like there's something wrong with me because it takes me so long for me to actually fall asleep no matter what. At least 20 minutes, I would say. Well, when I'm lying down on a couch or my bed. Maybe it's less time when I'm in a car..? Because I kept on hearing about people that can fall asleep so quickly and easily. But apparently it turns out that falling asleep so quickly (in 5 or less minutes) is a sign of sleep deprivation. But.. I bet I'm still sleep deprived. I'm a wreck, pfft.
Now onto some announcements related to my skits.
I've become a lot more interested in writing skits. I keep on wanting to write skits in several long parts. This one I'm currently working on has several parts.
About my skits, I include hints at story content in future scenes in all of them. The skits have parts that relate to the story. You wouldn't actually understand it though because everything is so vastly complicated. That time that Fierdan looked like he was sleeping but was actually communicating with A___? That's a scene that's vaguely similar to one I have in mind for the story. Much later in the story, Fierdan is called a good person and a savior, and in which he strongly denies that. And that causes the fight of who is the real good, who is the real savior/rightful leader of the world (?? idk how to explain things). Maybe it's not directly Taurel vs. Fierdan, but more like Taurel vs. Duke (whenever I think of those two against each other, I just think it's epic, like dang son).
Oh and in what I imagine the sequel of Twinkle's Story (if I ever write it lmao seems unrealistic though), I have such a vivid description of Fierdan. Anyway, I love Fierdan so much in story 2 omg you guys do not understand my love for this boy. In the story, he technically does sleep. Very little though. Fierdan has troubles sleeping and has frequent bad dreams and nightmares. He's very fragile, and people treat him differently (as usual). For the beginning of story 2, a lot is focused on Fierdan, nightmares, and traumas. Yeah...
By the way, the personalities and behaviors of the characters in the skits isn't exactly the same as in the story. Some of them are.. significantly different.
Okay, I'm done. Enjoy the skit! :) <3

[Date: Friday (December 1st). Time: 11:37 am. Location: House.]
Fierdan: *speaking to Sparkle* Based on the context, the correct word you should have used is "condemn", not "condone". They aren't synonyms.
Sparkle: *sighs* Yeah whatever, nerd.
Fierdan: *sighs* To condone someone means that I would have accepted Duke using black flames and let that happen. I got frustrated at Duke for letting out black fire; I wasn't disregarding the severity of that color flame. Condemning Duke was what I did. To condemn someone means to express a strong disapproval of something. I disapproved of Duke using black fire inside the house. See, there's a difference between the two words.
Sparkle: Ugh yeah, okay.
Fierdan: *rolls eyes and starts to walk away* You're welcome, by the way.
Sparkle: *mutters* Stupid nerd.
Fierdan: Based on the context, you're the stupid one. You didn't know the difference between "condone" and "condemn" until just now when I told you the difference between them.
Sparkle: Okay! Thanks for informing me of this, Fierdan, but I don't really care.
Fierdan: You should care. I don't want you to say something that you wouldn't mean by accident.
Sparkle: Oh. Okay.

[Date: Friday (December 1st). Time: 12:16 pm. Location: Backseat of a taxi cab that is driving through a city. Names of specific places and people are classified and can not be revealed to outsiders. Ryen and Duke are the only main skit characters that know these names.]
Duke: Wow, their place is far away. We left the house almost two hours ago.
Ryen: *checks watch on his wrist* Yeah, they live a fair distance away from us.
Duke: Your briefcase looks cool. You almost look like a professional.
Ryen: Almost? I am a professional. It's my job.
Duke: This stuff is so interesting. So mysterious and secretive.
Ryen: Yeah, I guess it is. Don't say too much though because we are still using public transportation. We can't risk saying too much when there are strangers this close by.
Duke: *speaks more quietly* Okay, but who are we meeting exactly?
Ryen: *lowers his voice as well* The people who control the Elemental Powers of water, illusion, and metal.
Duke: Oh hmm, sounds interesting.
Ryen: They are interesting people, alright.
Duke: *turns head to look directly at Ryen* I still don't understand. Why am I going with you to speak with them instead of Fierdan? Shouldn't he be the one going with you?
Ryen: *leans head back* With the state he's in? Fierdan is a severely sleep deprived and emotionally unstable wreck. He isn't at his best yet, so I'm choosing you. Besides, you also hold the fire Elemental Power. You and Fierdan are basically the same person, except that you're the younger version of him.
Duke: I feel like I shouldn't be involved in this. I'm too young, right?
Ryen: Too young? Are you kidding? You're almost 18 yourself, right?
Duke: Yeah, my birthday's coming up.
Ryen: So you aren't too young. Relax.
Duke: *speaks reluctantly* Okay, I'll try to.
Ryen: They are very interested in you. They have specific questions in mind that they want to ask you.
Duke: Questions about what?
Ryen: They're interested in your perspective in the last world.
Duke: *looks worriedly at Ryen who is sitting next to Duke with his folded hands on his lap* Oh.
[Date: Friday (December 1st). Time: 1:23 pm. Location: Small meeting room in classified building.]
Person 1: Do you believe that you are intelligently superior to Taurel?
Duke: *looks at Ryen with a look of confusion*
Ryen: *mouths words to Duke* They know about what happened, and they know who Taurel and Risak are.
Duke: *nods at Ryen and then faces the other people* In the end, it would clearly show that I'm far more intelligent than Taurel.
Person 1: Could you elaborate on that?
Duke: *folds hands and places them on the table in front of him* Yes, of course I can.
Person 1: Then go elaborate.
Duke: *takes a deep breath* I was able to see the flaws in his plans. It took me a few days for me to piece together the bigger picture, but once I did, everything became so obvious. It was very stupid of Taurel to leave such a huge loophole in his plans.
Person 1: Was Taurel aware of your intelligence level in any way, and if so, how?
Duke: Well, yeah. Before he handed me over to Risak, he mentally assessed me in something kinda like an aptitude test.
Person 1: How did you do?
Duke: Taurel did not expect the Duke Fierdan to be that smart.
Person 2: Then why don't your school grades correlate?
Duke: I was a troubled kid who, well, got in trouble a lot. My home life and mental health were very unstable during most of my youth as well.
Person 2: Hmm. *writes down notes on notepad*
Duke: To translate my results of Taurel's mental assessment for me into the current school system, I would be taking all classes at school at the honors level. But for the majority of all academic classes at the AP level.
Person 2: Are you taking those high level classes at your current school?
Duke: Uh.. no.
Person 2: *smirks* Wow.
Duke: My friends from back home think I'm so stupid. Well, I think I'm smarter than all of them. Okay, apart from Ryen and Fierdan himself. Being smarter than them would be impossible.
Ryen: *grins*
Duke: The school system in the last world was severely corrupted. There was no such thing as warnings or write ups- things that exist in my current school. Doing the slightest thing wrong resulted in an instant detention. Getting detention was very easy. And of course the number of detentions I got negatively affected my academic record. I wasn't able to achieve higher levels in any academic subjects as a result. Besides, my life was a mess in every way possible, so I doubt I could have succeeded in those classes, anyway.
Person 3: Okay, I have a question for you about how you dealt with Taurel. Why did you use an object to stab through his eye?
Duke: *losing his composure* How did you know about that?
Person 3: Heard you used a long, hard object. It must have went deep into Taurel's eye.
Duke: *sweating* Uh yeah, it did.
Person 3: Why did you decide to damage his right eye in such a violent way?
Duke: He damaged my left eye, that's why.
Person 3: How did he?
Person 1: Is there a reason for your questions, _______?
Person 3: Yes, there is. Now please let me ask my questions to Duke.
Duke: Well, Taurel electrocuted my left eye for several times a day, for a few days in a row. It resulted in my left eye turning entirely black for the rest of my time in the last world. Since Taurel is like my opposite and my rival, I decided to react by damaging and breaking his right eye instead of his left.
Person 3: Did that action of yours directly cause Taurel to die?
Duke: *looks clearly uncomfortable but is trying his best to stay professional* What I did to his eye wasn't the first thing I did to him. I have to say no to your question. There were other factors.
Person 3: So what was the main cause of Taurel's death?
Duke: I'm not sure that I actually killed Taurel. I think I just broke his body.
Person 3: You didn't kill him then?
Duke: I said I don't know for certain! *stands up, has trembling arms and hands*
Person 3: Where do you think Taurel is now, Du--?
Person 1: *cutting Person 3 off* That's enough! We need to focus on the real reason for our meeting.
Person 2: *mutters* About time.
Ryen: *stands up and walks toward Duke* Excuse me, but could I talk with Duke alone for a minute?
Person 2: Yeah sure, go ahead.
[Right outside the room.]
Duke: *fidgeting due to sudden elevated nerves* Why the hell are they all so interested in what happened between Taurel and me?
Ryen: I didn't know they were going to ask you those types of questions.
Duke: Who were those guys, anyway?
Ryen: Person 1 has the illusion Elemental Power, Person 2 has the water Elemental Power, and Person 3 has the metal Elemental Power.
Duke: The metal person is leaving me a very uncomfortable feeling.
Ryen: Yeah, that person can be tough. The person with the water Elemental Power is usually cold and stubborn, but he is nothing compared to the person with the metal Elemental Power.
Duke: What about that other guy?
Ryen: Oh, him? He's annoying, haha.
Duke: Oh?
Ryen: He is a reliable acquaintance though. He's not that afraid of risks.
Duke: I like the illusion person the best.
Ryen: Good choice.
Duke: I think we should go back inside now.
Ryen: Okay.
[Inside the room again.]
Person 2: Ryen, you want us to meet the rest of our Elemental Powers gang?
Duke: Huh? Gang? Ryen?
Ryen: Yes, that is what I plan on doing.
Person 2: Let them mature a little longer, and then I'll consider uniting our two groups into one.
Ryen: Okay, I understand.
Person 2: Good to hear. The work we do isn't suitable for children. There is too much risk involved if kids are put into the equation.
Ryen: Okay.
Person 3: Since Duke felt uncomfortable upon hearing my invasive questions, I know for sure that he isn't ready. Sorry, Ryen, but that day isn't today.
Ryen: *is suddenly disappointed* It's okay. I understand.
Duke: I'm not ready, and neither are my friends, solely because we still feel strong emotions? That's messed up!
Person 3: *stares at Duke intently* Accidentally showing too much of a single emotion could not only result in your death but the death of all of us. Our work is secretive, and the minute any outsider has any idea what we're up to, we are all dead. Easily showing emotions in public could literally kill us. So no, if you and your group of friends with Elemental Powers are emotional people, then you aren't ready to officially reunite with our group. Over here, being killed is taken much more seriously.
....... oh yeah, story 2 vibes coming from this one. Ooh, ahh.
To be continued..?
