*Sorry the "Anonymous POV"s are so confusing if at all. The one in this chapter is Fierdan's brother during the time of the Anon POVs in Chapters 41 and 42 (if that makes any sense).*
*I'm really trying to improve... Hope you enjoy the chapter despite the shortness of it.*

ANONYMOUS POV
The boy bent down and carefully placed the bundle of white roses onto the light beige rectangular structure. When he came up, he saw a young woman in a white lab coat talk to a much taller woman with dark skin. The dark-skinned woman looked really aggravated at the woman she was talking to. Curious, the boy decided to eavesdrop on their conversation.
The woman in the lab coat adjusted the elastic band in her hair, her straight dirty blond hair cut neatly at the shoulders. She sighed, "Look, I know your son died during the transformations, but so many other families are grieving for their losses too."
The other woman replied back with a clear anger in her voice, "That doesn't mean I take it any less lightly. You told me you were taking the youngest generation there, so they'll have a better future. So can you please tell me, how can that happen if they all died? Oh please tell me, I'm dying to know!"
The woman in the lab coat took a step back. "We didn't know there was a flaw in the system; we didn't know they would all die because of it. It was definitely not intentional, okay?"
"No, it's not okay!" the other woman yelled, then paused. A few seconds later, she continued. "Oh, oh I know what your real goals are. You and your fellow mad scientists thought of solving the over-population issue by sending them to be tested in a new world, but you were secretly sending them there to kill them. That's it, isn't it? Isn't it?!"
"No, no! That's not it at all!" the younger woman said, the white sleeves of her lab coat dropping down a few inches from her wrists as she vigorously shook her hands in front of her indicating "no".
Then the boy parted his near-black bangs to the right side of his face. He decided to approach the two conflicting women. Just as he approached, he heard the dark-skinned woman say,"Oh wait. Maybe Doctor Zios and Mira's true plan was to exterminate anyone who wasn't their descendant, so only people who share their bloodlines can survive there. Since one of their sons was put into the test, and he so called happened to survive. Now that's not a coincidence!"
Oh, what the perfect time to walk up to them, the boy thought sarcastically. Just as he was about to turn around and walk away, the tall woman tapped his shoulder. "Yes?" he asked, trying his best to sound like an innocent child of his age.
However, she said to him through gritted teeth, "You. You're in on their plan too, aren't you!"
The boy gulped and turned to face her. "No, I never knew they would die either. None of us--"
"Oh, would you look at that! You're not just related to Zios and Mira, but you're the brother of their son who happened to miraculously be the only survivor!"
He looked out of the corner of his eye to see the young female scientist flee from him and the other woman. He looked into the woman's dark eyes and said, "If they did plan to have Daniel, my brother, be the only survivor because of how he's related to them, then I'm not on board with those ideas they had. Even though none of my relatives died, I can still feel all the pain inside. So many innocent people died when they didn't have to, and you think I don't care because I'm related to the two who created the idea for this project? Listen, I'm not a heartless monster, woman! Learning so many people lost their lives due to what my parents created is sick! I never was, and never will be, in on my parents' plan!"
An elderly woman looked at him and passed on by. Was that regret in her eyes?
The boy rubbed his eyes. It was strange, alright. It was almost as if she was apologizing to Danny. But why?
Unblinking and suddenly having nothing on his mind, he slowly stepped back away from the woman. He didn't know if she realized or not; not like he cared, anyways.
He suddenly collapsed onto the sparkling white tiled floor. He felt his breathing and heartbeat lower.
No, go away! We didn't do anything. He didn't kill; Zios did. Zios did. Curses, come to them, not us. No, no, no...
Voices swarmed in the boy's head. They spoke to him in eerie tones like demons. Be cursed, cursed, cursed. You are cursed, cursed, cursed. Everyone hates you two outsiders. We all want you dead, dead, dead. You and your brother caused this, caused this to happen. Die, die, die.
NO! GO AWAY, GO AWAY, GO AWAY! WE'RE INNOCENT!
One of the voices stopped swarming around in his head. It stayed in once place as it told the boy a message.
You're blood-related to Doctor Zios; you are just like him. Be cursed by the world. You and your brother don't deserve to live, but we'll let you suffer, and suffer, and suffer.
STOP, STOP, STOP!
Too bad, it's already too late.
He closed his eyes, still laying down on the floor. Us two being cursed by the world, huh? People wanting us dead, huh? Then we'll make sure that never happens.
Let them all hate us, fight us. But Danny and I will always remain victors. Always, always, always...
Then the intelligent eight-year-old who was the son of the sinister doctor, Zios, passed out. And he knew. He knew everyone else would hate him and his brother because of who they were.
Other people walked around the un-moving boy's body. Signs of hatred and disgust on their faces.
DAWN
"Do you guys have him?" I say into the walkie-talkie. I swing my legs off the cliff's edge as I wait for an answer on the other end.
Finally, I get a response. "Yes, we have him, and yes, we're taking care of him."
I let out a relieved sigh. "Thank goodness. Thank goodness you're the ones who found him," I breathe into the device that I hold up to my right ear.
We'll be together again, my sweet. Just you and me, very, very soon. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore.
But this time, we won't hide from each other.
TWINKLE
It was suspicious alright. That moment when their eyes locked was as if they understood a silent message. But what was it? What made Duke suddenly change his mind to easily allow him to be arrested?
Thoughts like these run through me. My brain, my heart, everywhere. Stop doing so is like me killing myself. Knowing that he has so many enemies in this strange area on the outskirts of Jamaa is definitely not a good thing.
I need to know if he's okay. I need to know, I need to know, I need--
I turn a corner and keep on running. I won't stop running till I find you.
I never felt this strong for someone else before. I suddenly halt when I come to realize it.
He'll never be how he was before. He shares his mind with his previous life's self. There's no reason to run. He's too broken to be fixed.
Too broken...
Too, too broken.
We're both broken.
I decide to not stop running until I'm with him again, never longing for fire so much before.
DUKE
I glance behind me to see the two guys in suits. What's these guys' deal? Pretending to be in the government, pretending to arrest me, revealing everything once they brought me to their car... "What is with you two?" I ask them.
"You're lucky the real government didn't find you. Duke, you don't know how wanted you are."
I turn completely around and eye them suspiciously. "What's that supposed to mean?"
They glance at each other from the corners of their eyes. The one who didn't speak before says, "Well, let's just say a lot of people want you dead. They know you're Fierdan in a second life."
The other guy says with a sympathetic tone, "I know it must be devastating to hear that so many want to kill you. It's okay now though, we're sending you to someone we know will protect you from the government."
"Who?" I ask.
"Dawn," they say in unison, "She lives near here."
Dawn. They're with her. Dawn. That messed up vixen. Dawn...
I feel fire concealed in myself, so much raging fire that it hurts. It hurts so, so bad. I exhale, relieved, when every tip of fur on my body is covered in a fiery spark. Why did it have to be her of all people? Sure, I really want to go to those training grounds she told me and Twinkle about. But now I know that's probably not gonna happen. She just wants me, Fierdan, back. She wants me to see her the same way as I see Twinkle. But how... How can I when I want her dead?
Green and red lights flash in my head. Green love, red kill. Love, kill, love, kill, love, kill, love, kill they flash.
You're making a huge mistake.
One of the guys asks, "Are you okay?" with concern in his voice.
I nod my head and reply, "Yeah, I'm okay."
Meanwhile on the inside, I'm shrieking. DAWN, DAWN, DAWN...
HOW ABOUT SOME SECOND LIFE REVENGE?
