Stress Begins Again- Now

Oh god, oh god. I'm panicking.

...

Got my class schedule for school finally.

Blahblahblah my stupidity blahblahblah

Math. Geometry. The teacher.

I'm texting one of my friends who has the same geometry teacher.

She's pretty smart.

She says it's difficult to pass the class with that teacher.

It was hard enough for me as it was with algebra.

But... Oh god, oh god.

Math causes me stress and anxiety, and to hear this...

See guys? This. This is what I mean that anything school-related *cough* math *cough* makes me extremely stressed and freaked out.

Even before school actually starts.

School is not fun. School is a prison.

And that is a fact.

I like the health/gym teacher I got though.

So yeah. I DEFINITELY can't wait to return back to the hell called high school. (<< that was sarcastic -.-)

And that's my irl crap. I mean crud.

Ok bye whatever. :/

  2. I still haven't gotten my school schedule (we get ours on the first day of school), and I can sort of relate. I know my French teacher will be a pretty strict teacher (like we'll get in trouble just for saying one word in English, or if you write an English word on your work, she'll rip it, no matter how good the rest of it is and give it a zero), and French is probably my hardest subject (except dance and drama -I suck at those… and gym. I suck at gym). Also we'll be having these huge verb quizzes every week that stress people out so badly that they couldn't sleep the night before, and even though our teacher makes us do them and they're a huge chunk of our report card, she doesn't even give back most of them so we don't know how good we do and what we need to work on.

Also, one of my favourite teachers who actually made health fun, might not be teaching us health/gym because we didn't see her name on the "Teachers and their classes" list in the school newspaper, and the most impatient teacher (science teacher) will be teaching grade eight health. I wonder how much the guys who laugh during Growth and Development are going to be yelled at…

Also that impatient teacher seeks to embarrass all students, including myself, and she's tied for my least favourite teacher (or will be my least favourite teacher because the art teacher -tied for last place- is leaving and I got so excited, no offence to her).

May the non-stress fairy sprinkle their stress-free sparkles over our heads X3.

  3. *im sorry for my stupid comments and bad advice and only sometimes comments* >8(

I think what you might need, Cutepups, is a tutor. Don't be afraid to ask people for help on math stuff. ALWAYS look stuff up- again and again, until it's drilled until your head! (I am also stressing out, so I'm giving myself a pep talk as well X3) and study DAILY! If you can; go over your notes- highlight the main points and stuff. And I KNOW math is hard (always for me) and I'm really pathetic. But this year is the year I'm gonna get a better mind set and study super hard for my worst classes. And besides, if it's troubling you that much (I heard this from other high school ppl) it's OK to drop that class- it will cause less stress and you'll get better grades as well. DONT put too much pressure on yourself - but work hard as much as you can. Find new ways to study, since the old ways aren't working,(I'm guessing) and REMOVE ALL DISTRACTIONS. Create a study space just for you- clean, organized, and ready for business. : ) always take notes (even if you feel like you don't have to) (I stole that part of that advice) and don't let yourself feel down because you think you are "dumb." Not everyone has the exact same minds- we all function differently - and we are all better than some things than others.
Create sticky notes and stuff, flashcard apps (like Quizlet : )), anything to help keep you going. Take breaks during studying, and motivate yourself by looking at quotes, etc. Don't give up! You can do it <3 (sorry this was bad) (I stole most of this advice from online lol)
We should have study sessions together online or something, lol. :3

    1. No, your comments aren't stupid. ;u;
I kinda had a tutor... it didn't work well... gonna get new tutor though (for math).
Well, I guess I could study more.
Haha, can't drop geometry. It's a required class and not honors or AP.
Well, I do get distractions A LOT. But since both my siblings are off at college, I can do my homework and studying in the room they always used to use to work and study. XD
      <3
Haha, I used Quizlet last year.
      Thank you again. ^-^
      Yes, I'd like that too lol. Study sessions online. ;w;

    2. Oh my gosh, sorry. X3 I was totally thinking of Pre-Ap classes when I was writing that. My mind is totally out there.
That's good that you're getting a math tutor (I proably need one lol).
Yea.. I'll think of how sometime xD now back to my science I don't understand even though I got it the first day.
Sorry for the short comment. I'll get back to you later •/(v)\•

    3. Haha, it's fine. I know a few friends irl who say that too.
Hopefully. I swear, my upcoming math teacher is strict and gives quizzes nearly every class... just ugh.
Your science is biology, right? Maybe I can help you on that... Maybe.

  4. Omg IKR
I mean I haven't gone back to school because our long holidays (summer) haven't started yet but I can relate to the stress of subjects and their teaCHERS
You are correct about school. Full of misogynists and bullies, teachers that say they give a crap about you when really- they just don't want to be responsible when we get hurt or whatever.

My counsellor told me everything difficult will pass soon. When you feel stuck at one point and you feel like giving up, take a small step, slowly and you'll soon find a way out. Cliché, I know- I thought that too :P but she's right.

I know whatever you're feeling is definitely not same to what I feel, even though it seems like we're going through the same thing but step by step, even if your cake batter isn't spot on but your final cake is delicious (lol what pathetic metaphor is this) it won't matter at the end because of course, your cake is delicious LOL (made that example on the spot- how sad)

Just promise me you won't bottle up your troubles and know that someone will be here to care even if it isn't me.

p.s I'm also hopeless at maths T-T and I'm also sorry for coming off cheesey *cringes*

    3. No yeah I know :P
Why do I have this feeling someone commented something and used my identity, I guess you could say

Also- by "... and know someone will be here to care even if it isn't me" I meant I DO care but there's so much others around you to support you (bc I read that again and it seemed like it came out wrong lol)

    1. Well when I'm stressed about something, I can only focus on that one thing. Like I can't do/think about anything else because of how stressed I am about that one thing. If that's what you mean..?

      Delete
    2. I focus better the more people there in the room. Seriously. I couldn't do my homework so I made a bunch of people just sit around not doing anything, and it helped

      Delete
    3. Well, it depends on how I'm feeling. I focus better when I'm alone and know what I'm doing. But if I need help (like with math homework, studying, and projects) I work where my dad works at home so I can ask him questions and he can help me.

    4. I know someone who told me that some people like it when they're stressed. It's not a bad thing but they like to put themselves under pressure as they cope better. It's just personality traits but I can't stand being stressed and I'd most likely give up and regret it later XD

    5. Well, yeah if you want to delve (is that the right word?) into psychological things.
