Hello, I'm back now with wifi. I'm not spending the night at my family's house, so I only have my phone with me.
Before I explain what I'll be explaining, just for some of you to be aware of (even if you didn't mean it like that). Okay so, the events that happened throughout the world yesterday (Friday, the 13th) were truly horrendous. Thousands (yeah, I'm not just talking about Paris) of innocent people lost their lives rather it be from the ISIS terrorist group attacks, earthquakes, or something else. I don't personally have any family relatives living in the countries where the events happened, but I find (and I'm inferring many others as well) it to be very disrespectful to just call the people and countries affected as, "oops, they just had some bad luck". Okay, no. Don't ever say that. It's way more than just "bad luck". It's way, way more terrible.
Okay, so about my day. So I spent the majority of today in New York City. If you don't already know, NYC is a very big and major city in the USA. I spent most of my time there indoors, but yeah I (and who I was with) saw some things. For instance, I passed by the Fox and NBC news studios with their flashing word signs repeatedly saying everything that happened in Paris, France. Oh and in NY, the US, there has been higher security. The doors to the bus terminal, for example, had several armed guards (like in soldier outfits). You see, the events that happened yesterday directly affected France of course, but it affected the rest of the world severely as well. There are many anxious people everywhere, worry about the attacks spreading to the (east coast) US everywhere. If you still believe the events that happened are to be taken lightly, then gosh.. you must not have a heart for other people geez.
I'm watching the Democratic Debate. They're talking about the terrorism attacks now. Ha.
I've only really checked the news of what happened to the other countries this morning as the most recently. I found a post on Tumblr that summarized it up, so I'll just rephrase say what it said. So the events yesterday:
France (mostly in Paris): under attack by terrorists (ISIS), multiple explosions and attacks, at least 153 killed. From what I know myself, there have been attacks (such as suicide bombers) towards the end of a France soccer game (possibly championship game I think), and in a few restaurants in Paris. Other areas in France have been attacked, but I don't know that much information on what happened.
China: more than 100 people were injured in mudslides. I don't know much about the events in the other countries, sorry.
Lebanon: twin suicide bombings last night, almost 200 injured and 43 killed.
Japan: had a very powerful 7.0 magnitude earthquake in the southwest Japanese coast, more than 18,000 dead or missing in northeast Japan, and a tsunami has been triggered with a warning issued.
Mexico: had a 4.3 magnitude earthquake.
Baghdad: 21 people were killed or wounded, at least 46 at a funeral in a suicide bomb attack, and a roadside bomb injured 15 and killed 5.
And in the University of Missouri (USA), black* students are getting death threats by some white* students, and some professors don't care about what could happen to the blacks*.
(* just in case anyone is offended by those words)
Like those songs, we ARE living in a "world on fire". Sure, people don't directly cause natural disasters, but people do cause climate change, which could cause more frequent natural disasters. This isn't just about 1 or 2 countries, this is about a large amount of the world. Sure, your specific country might haven't been mentioned, but the events that affected these countries could affect your country sooner or later as well. The affects of major events spread. It just does, that's how it is.
***IF YOU KNOW AS A FACT THAT I HAVE SAID INFORMATION THAT IS FALSE, PLEASE KINDLY TELL ME WHAT THE TRUTH IS. THREATS AND DECLARATIONS OF *islam*PHOBIA WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE TOLERATED ON MY BLOG.***
If you personally know anyone who has been directly affected by the events in these other countries, I send you and your family my condolences. I don't care if we live in totally different countries across the world, if you are a kind and supportive viewer of mine, I do care about you. Even if you don't about me. Even if I'm just a stranger to you, I honestly care about you and your life. Including your family as well. If you think nobody cares about you, then I care. All of you guys mean the world to me. I'm obviously not a "robot blogger", I like having conversations with you. I care a whole lot. I know what it's like to feel like nobody in your life cares about you. But, whatever you say, you are wrong. People, even if they're just people you met online, care about you. I have vented so many times to you guys. If you feel like venting to me, then just go ahead, my blog email is right over there to the right of the blog. I (platonically) love all you amazingly nice people, and please stay safe. <3

..Tommorrowland is all about how we are destroying our world, and that there is always a chance where you can change the future, but we accept the world's fate and do nothing. This includes climate change.
ReplyDeleteNothing happened in Australia (that I know of..)
... okay.
Delete(Sorry, can't think of anything to say as a reply.)
Okay.
DeleteAs far as I know, it hasn't been confirmed that it was ISIS who attacked Paris.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the news I read and saw, ISIS claimed responsibility for the Paris attacks. Either disguised by false Turkish or Syrian passports... I think.
DeleteI know.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I hope so.
DeleteThe irony of this is that it happened Friday the 13th
