dang it why me

Hi ok can I just rant? 

Anyway hi, I'm an idiot. 

I lost my small sketchpad with all my 2017 story characters sh¡tpost drawings. And so, I've been looking in my room for it for the past hour (since 10:20/30). 

*skip forward to 11:30* 

I finally found it. Phew. 

So, onto the point. I realized I never posted some drawings I started sometime last October. 

(I'm referring to my "Eye Examination" art wip btw)

Well, haha, I just looked at it now. And I can't get over how bad it looks. I thought I drew Duke so good. But now, well, I think I drew him terribly. 

I thought this sh¡t was good?! What the hell was I thinking?! 

I wanted to finish it for so long, but after seeing it again, I don't think I want to. And for some reason, that makes me sad.

That's the only version of it I actually posted. Wow. 

After I posted that, I worked on fixing up Duke. Currently, he looks a little better than in what I posted in October. 

I couldn't, and still can't, find the effort to make Taurel look any better. I can't draw his legs right for the life of me. 

Like ok, guys, you don't understand. I used to think I drew Duke looking hot even though he's in severe pain. 

Now I'm looking at the drawing and thinking Duke looks so ugly. 

(What the hell happened to me? .... Ok, well, my mental health was probably at an all time low, last fall, so.. yeahhh.)

Umm, here's what that drawing of Duke looks like now. I came back to my old sketchpad to find this. (I'm not bothering to show Taurel because he looks the same as the one I showed in October.. except I erased his legs in frustration.)

I added rips in his shirt and pants because they looked too clean before. Like, Duke's being.. inhumanely treated by Taurel. For nearly a week. Of course his clothes aren't going to stay nice. What was I thinking?!  

I also fixed the chains. I think I did, but I can't tell if there's enough of a difference between the one I showed in October and the one I'm showing now. 

(I only traced the chain on Duke's ankle and the lower part of his right leg just now. But other than that, this is exactly how I left this drawing for the past several months.)
