throws you all a skit

I was thinking of ending the first post from yesterday with a skit. But I was being yelled at when I started to type that post. And I was stressing over school stuff.. as usual. 

No, this isn't a funny skit. It isn't even that happy. Kinda a ventish skit. But kinda entertaining too. Duke kinda is me. Besides all the death stuff. Don't worry about that for me. 

I'm unsure if I'll be taking another blogging hiatus. I could just post skits in this way instead of the previous joke ones I made. Well, enjoy! 

(At Sparkle's place as usual. Duke sits lazily on a couch, and the rest of the gang are busy doing stuff.)

Sparkle: Hey bum, why aren't you doing anything?

Brock: Yeah, haha, go make me some Lucky Charms soup, drunkie!

Finny: Hey, that was kinda mean, Brock. 

Brock: Too bad, he deserves it. He's not even objecting me. 

Duke: Shut up, Brock.

Brock: Wow, how rude! *exits room*

Sparkle: He's got a point though. Do something for once, Duke.

Finny: Hmm..

Duke: Where's Dawn? 

Sparkle: Umm.. do you mean Twinkle? 

Duke: *sighs* There's a reason I said Dawn. Can you guys please leave and tell her to come here? 

Sparkle: Why don't you go find her yourself?

Duke: Just tell her to come here. Don't let Twinkle get involved though.

Finny: Oh, are you doing naughty things? 

Duke: *rolls eyes* Don't tell me you just said that. Especially not you, Fin. 

Finny: Oh.. okay. Let's go find Dawn then. 

(Five minutes later...)

Dawn: Hey, can I come in?

Duke: Umm.. yeah. You're alone, right? 

Dawn: Yeah.

Duke: Okay.

Dawn: So how's it doing, kiddo? 

Duke: I don't.. Can I ask you something?

Dawn: Of course. 

Duke: It's about that thing. 

Dawn: You've gotta be more detailed than that.

Duke: So.. um.. Dawn. Do you ever just feel like you can't bring yourself to do anything? Like, you really want to.. but you can't. And yeah, you can't explain why you can't bring yourself to physically do it. It's like you're watching your life fly past you. And of course no one understands why; you don't understand why yourself. It's like you feel yourself slowly dying inside. Ever feel like that? 

Dawn: No..

Duke: Because I feel that way. 

....
