Okay, now I'm going to go onto a more serious topic. Okay..
This blog.. erm... How to put this?
(This wasn't just because of my post the other day, I've been feeling this way weeks earlier.) For a while now, I've been feeling like all (except story chapters.. can only type those up every few weeks or so, so not regularly) my blog posts are bland and just missing.. missing that "blogging" feel. And, like Queen puts it, some of the posts (for example, any AJ-related post) I make seem rather "fake" and forced.
For a while now, I've been really hating the posts I type up because they're just so lame and boring nowadays. It seems like all I post about nowadays is me complaining about life more than I should. I know you guys have a liking for my irl posts (oh, you little stalkers X3), but I feel that only posting posts like that isn't something I find, well, enjoyable.
Ugh, my posts suck nowadays. They really do.
Like, I (and Queen too) need that blogging spark again. And for Queen, I know you're probably thinking about how I can possibly feel this way too, but I just do. I really don't like how my posts are anymore. It's either stupid vents, me complaining about life.. or me making posts that seem "fake" and forced for you guys to enjoy.
So.. where is this going?
I'm not gonna quit blogging (no, no.. why would I do such a thing?). I'm just.. just...
Well, I'm either gonna make posts (kinda like "test posts") where I post about completely random things until I find something I really like (like how we all really liked AJ and blogged about that) to blog about often, or just take a posting hiatus.
Actually, I will be away this weekend. Yeah..
I just can't keep this up anymore. I feel like I'm lying to all of you. I really enjoy blogging. It's just that I need to find a new interesting topic to post about. So, any posting suggestions you may have, please comment them below. But please don't tell me you like my posts how they are. Okay? Just don't.
Because the posts I've been doing are posts I don't really enjoy typing anymore. I need new ideas, good ideas.
Heck, maybe taking a blogging (posting) hiatus will be good for me. Maybe then I can come up with decent posting ideas. And besides, I'm honestly addicted to blogging. And I hate it. My posts are so horribly organized and just.. blegh.
So yeah. I really don't know anymore, guys. I just.. don't. I know so many of you are happy because I'm one of those few "AJ bloggers" (even though I quit that game a long time ago XD) who still actually posts often. I hate how so many blogs like that have gone inactive now. It feels like the blogging community is just dying. But maybe I should just take a hiatus too.
Come up with new blogging ideas, too. Things that both you guys and me will enjoy. Actually enjoy. To, like, make blogging fun again. Enjoyable again. Loved again.
You guys are like my best friends, and I just love all of you so much. You guys keep me going, and I feel like I don't thank you guys enough (even though I say it like every other post, haha). <3

- little extra posts on searching for different blogs to like/things to blog about and what you've found/what you like about that blog/how it helped you/short update on how you're doing finding your blogging spark, etc.
- boredom posts (things you like to do/posts when you're bored/mini games/activities/scavenger hunt contests and stuff on your blog you make yourself when you're feeling bored
- a post brainstorming the things that you would like to include in the blog/all the things you like to do that could be incorporated into blogging
- reviews on things you like (honest reviews, not over glazing things) like books, movies, blogs, etc
- hmmm maybe like "chat posts" where you can do a thing to a chat thing from a website or whatever that does those kind of places and put if you're offline or online and like, anon people can come too or whatever and all of us can just like chat or something and you can put what times you're on, and you can do this when you're bored or something, or like one of those art thingies where people can watch you draw and talk at the same time or whatever (but not editing your art) or something (there's websites for that kind of stuff online I believe)
- idk maybe "happy posts" or your views on a subject, but not like 'you'll be ok' and like idk man
- writing out character bios and stuff that could help for your story and stuff or taking a break from this blog and working on your story blog and doing mini alert posts that tell ppl you've posted on your other blog or something
still kind of unmotivated over kind of quitting my other blog, so here's this for now

DeleteNo not you too! First it was awesomepanda, then Meloetta, and now you! :( The AJ blogging community is dying... There's no good blogs left, only the AJ spirit but their posts are so fake and boring.... I miss the old days....
ReplyDeleteOh.. no, no! By hiatus I mean until I come up with a good, solid topic/s to blog about (since my interest in AJ is close to none now). So I'm probably gonna experiment with totally different posting topics until I find a topic I enjoy again.
DeleteHonestly, blogs like the ones you mentioned kept me up and inspired me to come up with decent/actually interesting posts (AJ-related or not). And now that the authors on both the Flash and Graphic Central (2 of my favorite AJ blogs) have basically quit, I feel like my blogging talent has faded away ever since they left. It might not seem like it since I don't comment on other AJ-related blogs that much anymore, but I still check them daily. I also miss those blogs so much, especially awesomepanda. I don't like how the blogging community is dying. The blogs inspired me to come up with cool post ideas, but now they're all.. gone. :(
Oh, I only check the Spirit for their theme posts (like artwork (my favorite type of post), AJMVs, decorating) and to read the comment sections. XD
All in all, I just need to come up with new ideas to enjoy blogging again (same with Queen). *sigh* Life's hard..

DeleteI'll be sad for you to go, but if it's what you want then uhh.. Okay. But will we still have contact with you? I have some ideas for posts, but I don't think they'll be enjoyable.. You could post about your dramsif you wanted too, I dunno, dreams do tend to be more uhh, happy than real life sorta.. Actually, I dunno.
